    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
    Soap: Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest
    Razor: Gillette Slim
    Blade: Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless (Shave #5)
    Brush: Cowboy Classic/Whipped Dog Silvertip-24mmx54mm
    Aftershave: Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Cowboy Classic/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol aftershave.

    Agreed, Great customer service, works tirelessly on new cool prducts. His aftershave is also a cologne, you are paying for the staying power. Just to name a few, cold spices, sacre bleu, black bot, etc etc. these colognes just rock.. I actually get compliments in my work elevator.. So yeah you pay extra, but it is not just a splash... Some dont like strong scents, but I Live for strong scents

    Post - Cold water rinse / Tallow + Steel: Dark Aftershave


    I must admit, that I really do adore using The 'Americana'.....and as for the T+S Dark? Nothing less than impeccable. A sublime shave, in every way.

    First time total cold water shave today. Preshave...cold water splash
    Barbasol Arctic Chill, cold water brush lathered and applied.
    British Model 1912 Ever Ready with few times used Pella, three passes.
    Cold water rinse and patted dry.
    Lustray Bay Rum.
    Lucky Tiger tonic/rub rubbed into my scalp, just because I can lol.
    After/after shaving...BIG Ahhhhhhhh.

    A bit better today, still trying to come to grips with Igor. The shave ended fine, the journey not so much. Sorry to say that Igor feels awkward to me thus making my shave more difficult than it should be. Will try a couple more days and see what happens. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    Very nice, almost effortless shave and my first outing with the Kent BK8 which wasn't as floppy as I feared and did a good job of face lathering the wonderful Wickham soap.
