SOTD: Vintage Sheffield-made Frederick Reynolds 7/8," Crowne & Crane 'Cognac & Cubans' soap, TGN synthetic brush, and Route 66 'Cavendish' aftershave balm. Early morning shave and a good one! Excellent pairing of the C&C with the Cavendish finish. Happy Hump Day, all!

    Oct. 26,2016 Wed.

Razor: Gillette Fat Boy (set on 6)
    Blade: Personna Coated (2)
    Lather: Proraso green
    Pre Shave Oil: Home Made
    AS: Aqua Velva Musk

A BBS via Fat Boy and Proraso, in only 2 passes, WTG/ATG. A thin, fine, wet lather under chin as a clean up. No moisturizer, just the Msk AS, with almost no sting. My face feels cleaner than in months. Happy shaving. Must go to my denturest, with regards, Bill Ogt, 26-2016 Wed. Shave 002.JPG

Hi Bob, the Fat Boy is great, got a terrific shave with mine this morning. Just wondering about the # 25 after your Wilkinson blade, are you saying you have gotten 25 shaves from 1 blade? If so, I gotta get me some. With regards, Bill

    Wash - Meissner Tremonia Puristic
Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
    Pre shave - Proraso
    Razor – Weber ARC
    Blade – Voskhod
Brush - 'El Monstruo' (Romera Manchurian 30/50 Fan)
Soap – Ginger's Garden Octavia Noir
Post - Witch Hazel, Jojoba oil.

'El Monstruo', my Romera Manchurian 30/50 Fan, has finally arrived, and it whipped up a storm with Ginger's Garden Octavia Noir, but all was not rosy.. The Weber/Voskhod combo felt tuggy, and Ginger's Garden didn't seem to offer enough protection, even though the lather was very thick, and lush. Which is a shame, because the post shave feel is wonderful...

Yes Bill-This was my 25th shave with the "Light Brigade". I have used it in 4 different razors. They are hard to find and expensive, but if you are patient, there are some reasonable deals out there.
