Menthol Monday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Rapira day 4 Lord Emofresh SC Keri unscented moisturizer Barbon AS Polo Original EDT The Lord Emofresh cream from Egypt has such a lovely scent to it with a crazy lather which blows up on your face like a bomb. The menthol effect is relatively light compared to Palmolive Green or Blue, Ingram, etc, but it's still there. The Barbon aftershave really magnified the cooling effect!

Monday Razor: JM Scmhid & Son 6/8 Brush: Omega Boar Soap: Institut Karite A/S: Aqua Velva Just another menthol Monday! Menthol is always a great way to start the work week, it perks me right up! I was actually going to use the Dovo this morning, but I was a little sleepy so I opted for the JM Schmid (which I'm pretty sure is a half-hollow) which is a little more forgiving than my other two razors. I did have to do a little touchup at the very bottom of the neck with a DE, but since I always shave a small bit (silver dollar sized spot of very thin hair on my balding head) on the front of my head with a DE, I didn't list it as part of the shave gear since it's role was minimal to the rest of the shave. Very good Monday morning shave with the Omega soap in the black tub topped off with Aqua Velva to wake me up for the work week.

My limited Edition iKon Bulldog paired with a Schick Plus Platinum blade did an excellent job leaving my face smooth and irritation free. A splash of Trumper Marlborough and I am ready for the day.
hot shower Proraso pre shave Omega #049 red Kent soap Gillette slim 1964 (6) setting (cant belive I didnt use the EJ89L again!!) Astra blade Alum block Dirty english shave balm I seem to be nailing every shave regardless of razor at the moment
The Cranford 5/8 Edwin Jagger Best Arko Nivea Sensitive AS Balm I'm auditioning my travel setup and wanted to see how spartan a shave I could do. No mug, just ran the brush under hot water and then face lathered. The EJ definitely isn't gifted with any kind of backbone, but because of that it's so soft it's like rubbing a kitten all over my face. It took some extra time to build it, but it got nice and thick eventually, and I think it was worth the effort. Also I think my stropping technique must be improving because the last couple shaves my edge has definitely felt smoother than before (except right when I got it back from honing - I still haven't been able to match that edge.) All in all a decent shave with minimal gear. In full disclosure I did do a cleanup pass on the neck with the progress at 4, although now I'm regretting it with some rashage. Here it is in all its road-readyness. Still playing with different brush containers, this one has a lip. I think I'm going to keep scouring pharmacies for the large pill bottles, but at least I have something if nothing else comes up.
