Wednesday morning,

Schick Injector Razor I1 w/ Personna blade,
Rooney 1/1 Best Badger Brush,
Arko shave soap w/ hot water lather,
finish w/ cold water rinse for a DFS!

Two passes for a near BBS shave. The Schick I1 head is essentially identical to the L1 and N3 head.
The Personna blade was fine, however, the plastic dispenser was a real pain compared to the metal
Schick dispensers with the Chinese blades.

 

Thanks, but I have, multiple times It's a recurring problem and is related to nerve damage in my right shoulder (up near my neck) that I incurred in high school from several injuries from wrestling and football. When you add mild carpal tunnel problems because I work on a computer for a living, it gets more annoying than anything else. The tingling/numbness usually only lasts for about an hour after I get up and after that it isn't a problem.

If I had the time to wait more than an hour in the morning for the tingling to go away, it would never be a problem. It was actually gone when I left for work about 20 minutes after my shave was already over. I already get up at 5:30 AM on work days, so getting up earlier is not an option.

 

Jeff, sorry to hear about the numbness problem. Sounds like something that would get old quick.

Wednesday:

After what I have to say was a horrible day at work, I stepped into the den for a shower and shave. The shower left me somewhat relaxed but it was time for my old friend, EJ89.

This had to be among my slowest shaves, I really savored each stroke. After 3+ passes and touchups, I decided that I declare thee an excellent shave. I retired my Gillette 7 o'clock Blue after five great shaves, washed and polished the Jagger, and retired to the couch.

I look forward to using this blade again when it comes up again in rotation.

Sorry to hear it Jeff. I get it from guitar so choosing a flat wide neck is impt. Ice is my friend, and at levels higher then mine there is nsaids.

But I'm sure you talked to your docs, etc. Just sorry for you.

 

Where do you purchase the Noxzema shave cream Jeff, Is it mentholated ?

It is very mentholated. I bought a whole bunch from a vendor in the States who has no more his business.
