Very cold today from PAA Ice Preshave to HTGAM FrostByte soap and finishing with PAA Lime Ginger Tea Tree aftershave. Der Futur was very smooth and efficient set on 6-6-5 and my face feels great.
Today is VIP day at school - students bring their grandparents to class and we show off our lessons and have fun. I'm doing a political cartoon lesson with my freshmen, and an optical illusion lesson with the senior AP Psych class.

Prep: Rusty Blade blend pre-shave oil
Razor/Blade: Gillette Canadian Heavy Tech / Feather
    Brush/Soap: Semogue / Valobra Unscented
    Aftershave: Witch Hazel/Eucerin Cream

Great shave this morning. The Valobra Unscented is such a wonderful soap. The Feather is on its 3rd day and it is now nice and smooth. :chores016:

A true face freezer this morning. I am still feeling the cold an hour or so later. The Stirling Glacial Spearmint was fantastic and got my eyes watering. A great start to my week.

Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate

Fabulous shave. I haven't used this soap in a long time. The Gillette British Rocket is a great shaver. Muir finished off my shave with just enough of a chill for my early morning.

Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
    Lather: Ginger's Garden Oakmoss soap
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (5, 6, 7)
Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS splash
    Cologne: Xeryus by Givenchy

I started a theme week; http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/walk-in-the-woods-week-2015.47698/. Lather was better-behaved today than yesterday, if not more copious. The shave was very smooth and comfortable, with barely a whisper from the alum after 3 passes, and DFS+ results. Although I'll be abstaining from mentholated soaps and creams this week, I got into the spirit of Menthol Monday with the Aqua Velva Ice Blue.

This shave was so damned frigid that it left me feeling almost frostbitten after using the beautiful Glacial Wintergreen trio - fantastic BBS results also! :happy088:

today's shave was nice. the lather was ok. three passes with my home modified new standard. clean and comfy. handle did very well. the tail piece had enough knurling to make the razor gripable. it felt solid, I'm happy with it. finished with iced ice blue.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

    MONDAY
Early, but leisurely executed, day-off shave this morning.
I haven't used MdC in about three weeks so this was a nice lather change. Typical uber-smooth C-MON shave.
    Have a great Monday, all!

Mongoose with Triad Ti Helix Hex
    Feather Pro 5
    El Druida Red D-7 Manchurian
    Krampert’s Frostbite Soap
Alum, Witch Hazel +++Menthol, Gold Bond Green Lotion
    Krampert’s Frostbite Aftershave

Today’s shave a 2 pass near BBS was very cold. Face lathered the Frostbite with the Red Druida brush. Jose O’Cana’s knots have quality equal to those made by Lee Sabini (Paladin & M.F.) and Aldo Sui (The Varlet). Krampert’s lathered cold and creamy in seconds. Mongoose gave me plenty of audio feedback, and some slight tugging so this blade will make an early exit. My icy Witch Hazel was overdosed with Menthol Crystals. Some “Menthol Maniac” went nuts with TSD Menthol Crystals. Had to take a ‘Menthol Break’ between the Mentholated Witch Hazel and the Gold Bond Menthol Moisturizer. Ended another Frosty Shave with a couple of generous handfuls of Frostbite Aftershave.
Hope your Monday is going great!!

I tried out my 1924 Ever Ready today. For some reason I expected it to be a bit harsh. Well, I was wrong. I found it easy to work with and fairly smooth. It was a great shave. :happy088:

Haven't used a DE in a really long time, felt a little strange. The Phoenix is a very attractive and very mild razor for me but felt good in hand. The shave was just all right though. Now go enjoy your day folks.
