    Prep: hot towel
    Razor: Weishi 9306
    Blade: Merkur (day 4)
    Brush: Wilkinson Sword
    Cream: Musgo Real Classic
    Passes: 3 (WTG x2, XTG)
Post: cold water, alum, Proraso blue cream

Well, I didn't switch blades, but I probably should have. Yet again tugging with the first pass, and a few weepers on my neck after the second pass. Still a nice smooth shave though. I let my face dry off before using the alum, so there was no sting which was a nice surprise! I have a fresh Merkur loaded for tomorrow morning. If I get similar results I will more then likely switch to Astra's

    hot shower
    Somerset's PSO
Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip (J3)
    Treet DuraSharp (1)
    VDH boar
TOBS St James cream (sample) in the scuttle
    alum
    TOBS St James AS

Picked up the Super Speed for the first time since purchasing it at an antique store recently and loaded a Treet DuraSharp that I won in a PIF. Having only an average shave yesterday I had plenty stubble this morning for another and that's exactly what I got. The razor is pretty mild so this probably isn't the blade to have in it. I wasn't making progress after the 3rd pass so I decided to push a little bit for touch up and paid for it with some slight irritation. I'll give it another try some day with a sharper blade and see if I can improve things a bit.

A flawless shave today. the Proraso face-lathered wonderfully with the Frank Shaving badger brush. With the Slim set to 4, I made two passes and some cleanup on the neck for a BBS shave. Finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and the Pinaud Clubman AS for a nice clean shave. It all came together for a super shave.

Didn't that great of a shave today. My usual setting on my adjustables is '3" but I decided to test a higher setting. Had to be very careful since I have very sensitive skin. Paid more attention to not cutting myself than I did to what kind of shave I was getting. Lots of weepers, one nick. I'll go back to "3" setting, maybe "2" on the Fatboy.
