JoAnna, the Kent cream if I remember has a lot of menthol, but the RSC Menthol stuff has none, or almost none. I had a tube of it, and I threw it away. Although the lather is good, I hate the scent, and I didn't even find the skincare so good.

Well, I wasn't comparing the menthol-ness really. Just the overall characteristics of the creams.

Whatever kind of menthol Kent uses doesn't register on my menthol scale, I guess.

:think002: Hmm... I find the Kent Cream quite chilling myself, but my tube of cream is red.

Wonder if there is a difference.

Edit: Other than the color! :p

The guy who runs the men's cosmetics department at a store I shop at is a big liar. He told me 4 years ago the RSC Menthol cream is super-cooling, so me like a dumb stupid, I bought it. The next morning I shaved with it, and I ran back in the store and I gave him my mind in a strong voice. He tried also to cheat me on a Barber Saloon soap. He thought I would be idiot enough to pay 30,00$ for the soap. I told him to talk to my hand. JoAnna, take my word - the Kent cream is only 1 step down from the Godrej Menthol Mist.

10-5.jpg Today was my second shave with a Ladas Blade and Italian Palmolive Cream. Nice menthol shave, and again, an extremely smooth virtually hair free shave. Me thinks the Jagger likes a more agressive blade.

Scott, one day you must to try the Palmolive Cool cream. I swear to you - this cream is exactly, exactly the identical shaving cream to the Italian Palmolive Menthol version you are showing. The only difference is the tube is smaller. It is 65 grams instead of 100 grams, and the color of the tube is blue, not green. Even the cream's color is light blue, but the scent, lather, menthol effect, and skincare are 100% identical. Here, take a look at the tube packaging. :) As we say in Yiddish, s'iz a groyse mekhaya! This cream is available all over eastern Europe, in countries like Romania, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, and Albania.

Bill, there is plenty, plenty menthol in the black tube of Kent cream. However: if they think I will ever pay 25,00$ for either cream again, they are dreaming.

To be honest I don't know, Scott. My Palmolive Cool creams were sent to me as gifts by a friend of mine in Romania. I think they are VERY cheap over there.

and mine came from Bullgoose and was a very low price. I guess it's about using the different countries. Funny, Eastern Europe never struck me as the capital of shaving...and my family comes from Eastern Europe so I figure I'm safe-lol
