Welcome to the wonderful world of Menthol...) Those Lady Eversharps are great razors...How do you compare it to your new Lady Gillette ?
Menthol Monday, or John's First Official Day of Vacation: Soap/Cream: Vintage Pierre Cardin/CO Bigelow Brush: Vintage Pierre Cardin boar Razor: EE Mos 100 5/8 Post: Witch Hazel, Mentholated Florida Water AS, EveryManJack Cedarwood ASB The PC soap was not really working out, so I added some Bigelow. Didn't quite get the water:soap/cream ratio right though. Slick, but not thick. A little irritation on some touch up spots. Close shave, but not the most enjoyable.
This if my favorite of the shave sticks I've tried, too. It is pretty amazing how the barely noticeable amount of soap that you rub on your face leads to all that lather, and I like the texture of it. Shave sticks can be a good way to sample some of the more expensive soaps in small quantities.
Razor: Rolls Razor Brush: Simpsons Case Cream: Prairie-Creation JDM Cherry Blossom AS: Constanza Bayrum Wring 2x. 2min 5. 4 pass. Smooth post. No drying good cushioning.
Honestly, even though it was a birthday gift, I really didn't use the Eversharp. I actually told Jeff it was too mild. He loaded a Pella blade for me and WOW did that make a difference. The Lady Gillette is a mild shave all around, whether I'm using a Dorco 301 or the Feather. The Eversharp performed today like my Schick Injector G, definitely a more aggressive shave. So the question I then ask myself, do I want to remove one layer of skin or two?!?

Dome and Face Shave Hot Shower Gem Micromatic Open Comb VDH Boar Palmolive Shavestick Osage Rub Clubman AS This razor is where it all started three and a half years or so ago. It was my first "real" razor and the rest, as they say, is history. Also if you haven't tried the Osage Rub/Clubman AS stack, I highly recommend it. I put on the Osage Rub pretty generously, then let it dry while I brush my teeth and then finish up with the Clubman. Very nice indeed.
