I have some Astra Stainless's that I was going to trade and thought I haven't tried these in a while...So I put a new one in the Super Speed and got a Fine Shave in 2 passes...Few minutes later I keep feeling stubble when I rub my face, soooo...Back I go, lather up with Arko Moist SC, and make one pass with the Ming Shi loaded with a Rapira and I'm better than a BBS....And irritation free...

Two passess on the face then two on the dome. Good shave! Both of my adjustables become incredibly aggressive set on 9. English Leather is precisely what my Dad would have worn this time of year as the weather begins to cool down.

Today I got the same kind of shave as my friend Lloyd with a Rapira--better than BBS, and no irritation, thanks to my Rapira. These blades are unbelievably good!

First shave with both the 11c and the Rudy Vey Brush. The 11c is just about too mild and really underwhelmed me this morning. Not a bad shave, just not to the same caliber as my other open combs. Still better then my Mach 3.

Last time I'll use a Blue Bird blade---my face feels like it was attacked by a rasp.

 

I must agree. I am not a fan of the Blue Bird blades at all.

Very tuggy and irritating.

Darn near BBS. The only thing keeping this from 5 blades was the scent of the soap. It's just a tad too sweet. As it is a TSD soap (read "great lather and comfortable shave") and I am a pack rat, it will go to the end of line and be used until it is gone - maybe only one or two shaves left, anyway. Such is the life of a pack rat
