Saturday: Gillette Tech razor Treet Black Beauty blade BathHouseSoaps Mint & Aloe SS Frank Shaving Best brush Osage Rub Barbasol Pacific Rush Balm & A/S The Frank Shaving Best brush is a little scritchy but produces tons of lather. A better painter than scrubber type brush. But a good shave was had.
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap Frank Shaving silvertip badger brush Merkur 34C / BIC Chrome Platinum blade @ day 1 Iveria after shave cream Seems like BIC is not a bad blade at all. It is unusual, but not bad. My first impressions from it were taken a long time ago. Probably, the technique has improved.

A nice, relaxing shave that I enjoyed very much.
Saturday A really good shave to start the weekend. D.R. Harris Almond Shave Stick Omega Boar Schick Type A Pella Blade (4) The Harris is my most expensive soap; it cost more in shave stick form than any other size of soap or cream that I've bought yet. It justifies this by giving the nicest lather of any soap I've tried, not necessarily more functional than, say Williams, but really pleasant to use. All that said, I probably won't buy any more until I've made a sizable dent in my huge stock of other soaps. And this type A Schick just gives a superb shave. I think tomorrow I'll go from this first of the injectors to the last, my type O, and compare.
Saturday iKon Bulldog Deluxe OC Iridium (1) MYcarver Chubby Finest Arko SS in an Old Spice mug Alum Clubman Bay Rum Wanted to revisit this razor, because we haven't been getting along very well. Today may have been a turning point for this one. It wasn't the best shave I've every had, but it definitely didn't suck. I'm thinking about giving this set up a week straight to see if I can improve my technique and the quality of the shave a bit. Three pass DFS - 3.5 / 5
A Fine Saturday Shave Hot Shower Frederick Reynolds Chopper Omega Boar Nana Junes Citrus Wake Up Witch Hazel/Corn Huskers Lotion Draggon Noir EdT Great shave! Like the Red Injun, this razor just seems to be scary sharp no matter what and it just consistently delivers great shaves. First time with the Draggon Noir, kind of just a plain clean soapy smell but I think I dig it so far.

Saturday, October 09, 2010 Razor: Merkur Futur Blade: Gillette Yellow Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super Cream: Ingram A/S: Generic Witch Hazel, Proraso Splash I hadn't used Ingram for some time, and the lather that I prepared was a little wetter than I like. However, it seemed to have sufficient slip and cushion, and the resulting shave was BBS and irritation free. I can't argue with that! A splash of Proraso and I'm ready for an unseasonably warm day.
SOTD Saturday October 9, 2010 Razor: 6/8 Abraham George, Full Hollow, Spike Point Coffee: Steve's (swarden43) Home Roasted Tanzania (Thanks Steve!) Pre-Shave: Proraso Crema Pre Barba Shaving Cream: Acqua di Parma (Thanks Curtiss!) Lather Bowl: Ceramic Scuttle: RAB Ceramic Brush: Custom Rosewood 28MM UK Extra Stuffed Silvertip Astringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel ASB: Nivea Replenishing Aftershave/Cologne: British Sterling Cologne for Men Results: Outstanding! I had the pleasure of enjoying some of Steve's Home Roasted Tanzanian Coffee before this morning's shave and it was a pure delight! This freshly brewed delicacy seconds after being ground, filled the room with its wonderful aroma and set the tone for this mornings shave selection; nothing but the best! This morning's shaving experience could not have been better and is a reminder of why we (devoted wet shaving enthusiasts) spend the extra time out from our daily mundane duties and devote a time to relax and enjoy life and it's pleasures. I hope that all had as wonderful a shaving experience as I did this morning. :happy005
Saturday: Brush: Vulfix 247 Pure Badger Soap: Col. Conk Bay Rum Razor: Rotbart/Gillette NEW Blade: Personna (day1) Post: Witch Hazel, Florida Water (mentholated), Corn Huskers Lotion Another super close, comfortable shave. Again, paid close attention to keeping it light. A also went back to warm water rather than cold. I don't know how much that contributed to the comfort, but I suspect that it may have.
Happy Saturday From Florida! Late night shave = waiting on FedEx all day for the Tabac. Hot Water Rag RAB Scuttle Omega Boar 10015 Tabac Soap Schick Injector I-2 Pella Blade (1) Cold Water Rag Tabac A/S 4 Passes = 5 Blade, Off The Hook, Fan-Freakin'-Tastic BBS! I do take objection to the Tabac A/S smelling NOTHING like the soap. It was sort of anticlimactic really. I smell mostly lilac, which I am not a huge fan of in A/S form, but it is acceptable. BG seems to like it so it is not a total loss.

This cheap Tweezerman did a great job. Whoever came up with the idea of the M-Bomb must be a genius. The ability to dial in the menthol chill, many times to items without menthol, has made my shave routine much more enjoyable. :happy088 Verdict, 4 blades.
