SoS: October 7, 2013 - October 13, 2013

Interesting take on it. I've never had the patience for using the brush on my face for more than a minute. But I enjoy the time spent lathering up in a bowl.
However, today I did get some pleasure out of watching the lather forming on my face while "brushing" vigorously. So perhaps there is hope for me yet

 

Newbie to the forum alert! We will see how I do on this as my first on the forum.
~ Aluminum billet Calvin Klein handle with a Black Badger (TGN) knot.
~ C&E Sandalwood shave soap, previous formulation.
~ KB Extra straight stropped on a Vintage Blades LLC Black Latigo.

Hot water soak for the brush and a dribble or two for the top of the soap while showering. Face lathered the C&E soap and went to town.


If I did not put this in the right area please let me know! You know how us newbs are!

Today was a no shave day for me!

Usually on Sunday I'll skip a shave to give my face a break from scraping a blade across it. All I did today was throw on some corn huskers lotion then some Nivea creme and called it a day. Menthol monday tomorrow!!

CeraVe lotion

I shaved around noon on Saturday, so my face was still pretty smooth. Only needed two passes to be cleaned up for church Sunday morning.

 

@MoAllen: Ain´t that a fantastic brush?! I used that on my last shave on sunday. For me it´s one of the best brushes i´ve used so far.

 

I agree! It is an excellent brush.
