Thanks Kevin! BTW, your SOTD Photos of the Shake Sharp are outstanding as well. I knew the Shake Sharp has been touring the forum but, I really never got to see a good shot of it to see what it actually looked like. When I first saw it I thought of a gold GEM 1912 but it is much more streamlined than that. Beautiful razor! Thanks for sharing those close ups of it. Very impressive! Great review at your link as well! :happy088:

    Razor: R41'2011+Weber Bulldog
    Blade: Polsilver SI (5)
    Brush: Omega 10275
    Soap: Arko
    AS: STR8 Black

I love this cheap Omega 5$ brush! Enough lather for more than 5-pass shave!

Day eleven of the federal shutdown and day eleven of this Shark Super Chrome blade. The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Parker badger brush to provide a slick cushion for another great shave. The Gillette New with the Shark Super Chrome blade took two passes to give a clean close shave. I finished it off with Dickinson's WH and Aqua Velva AS. After the clean up, I hand stropped the blade and put it away for another day. Hoping the shut down will end before the blade is retired.

Not sure why don't use the Old Type more often. It gives a great shave.

Prep: hot shower, TBS Maca Root Face Wash, Stirling Soap Scots Pine bath soap.
    Brush: Vulfix Burlington.
    Razor: Weber PH Bulldog.
    Blade: Polsiver SI.
    Cream: Palmolive Menthol.
Post: cold water rinse, Thayer's Lavender WH, Krampert's Frostbite.

I was going to try out the Marco Method today, but the Palmolive Menthol was calling my name and jumping around... I had to use it. I love how it freezes my face so good. It also provided me with a very slick lather and great skincare... like always. It is my absolute favorite cream. It will always remain in my top 5. The Weber Bulldog and Polsiver SI is a very good combo for me. I was DFS in one pass and only needed to touch up a couple of spots that I had missed. I also had some old irritation that was still prevalent, but not a problem today. I also think Krampert's does the best job at protecting my skin. It is closely followed by Captain's Choice Lime, and then Clubman.

3rd shave with the Perma-Sharp and my first shave with Stirling Confierouos today. They were a good match-great lather, great shave: close, smooth, nick & burn free. I finished with TSD Signature(Iced).

    Aramis EDT

Man alive, is this Lea Menthol cream ever cold - it can out-freeze Ingram and Proraso Green by miles. I love the scent and lather, and the menthol sensation takes hold as soon as you start lathering up and gets stronger and stronger as your shave progresses. The Anherb conditioner is one of the best aftershave balms ever created, and the Barbon not only is super-cooling, it also disinfects and soothes sensitive skin. This was a shave from Paradise! ;) :D

    Saturday

Used my MMOC on Wednesday, the blade wasn't in correctly, the lower right edge was above the tab. Scratched my neck up pretty bad so I skipped shaving for a couple of days. Pulled out the MMOC again this morning and got a fine shave.

MWF face lathered with Omega 49
    MMOC with Gem Stainless (2)
3 passes, alum and finish with Proraso aftershave

Fantastic Saturday morning shave. I followed Mantic's method for lathering MWF, and got a great lather.

Nice shave. I picked up the A.O.S. soap while I was in Denver and actually think it's still a good soap (new formula) but probably wouldn't fork over the dough for anything but sandalwood in the future. Have a good one.

Prep: Hot compress, Crown Co. Supreme Glide Pre-shave Lotion
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: VDH Unscented
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Hi-Chrome Platinum

Post: Cold water rinse, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB
    Cologne: Endymion by Penhaligon's

The nick that I caught yesterday on my Adam's Apple - which I'd dismissed as minor based on the amount of discomfort it didn't cause - bled quite a bit longer than I anticipated, so I figured I'd let it heal up some more and just do a 1-pass SAS today.

A new scent for Dirigo Blue's PSO - Aroostook. The scent comes from an EO blend from Bramble Berry of Siberian Fir, White Pine, Clove Buds and Mistletoe Berries. The pine and spice is tamed down by Pink Grapefruit, Frosted Lily and ripe Pineapple. I re-named it Aroostook as it reminded me of all the pine, balsam and fir of Northern Maine. Yep, I'm from the County, 25 miles NORTH of Caribou!
