• Result: A great BBS shave. Especially enjoyable due to the wonderful scent of the English Fern Type soap. This stuff is great to lather and provides a great shave. Finally, the Old Spice Type EDT got my wife's attention at the breakfast table. Not the first time she has said she likes it.

 

TSD English Fern Type - just something about the scent makes me feel a little classier, a little more sophisticated. Nice choice.

No menthol in todays shave, but it was still a great all around shave.

I decided to treat myself with the Old Spice soap, made beautiful mounds of lather quickly with the old Rubberset boar brush, and then finished it off with the Old Spice splash. I received this bottle of Old Spice as a Christmas gift a long time ago, and when I went to apply it today I was surprised to see it was from Shulton in 1997.

Very nice 4.5 blade shave

I think that today's shave was the closest I had all week. By the way, the Williams Menthol cream smells great, and gives absolutely fantastic lather. On the freeze level, it rates at about :freezing, so it's not quite the :anifrozen level of Palmolive Menthol, or Godrej Menthol Mist, etc, but it's still lovely.

First shave with the Iridium blade and hot diggity is it a keeper. I'm not a fan of Feathers, Kai, or 7 O'clock Yellow blades, but this one sharp and smooth. I had two small weepers adjusting to the blade, but it was a 3 pass and a slight bit of touch up for cup full of BBS goodness. 4.25 / 5.
