After several attempts to get the lather just right, last night I finally got there. The lather has excellent stability, consistency, elasticity, cushion, and glide. I am going to use it this week to get a good idea of the results. I will cut it with both DE and straights.

I really like that straight......where did you pick that up?

 

German razors on eBay. It's a mint Bing Solingen 7/8". I like the Mauser sign a lot. It's actually a depiction of the three monkeys (not the three amigo's).

 

Thats exactly what i like about it. A friend and i always had a joke about monkeys...and when i saw that...i said...i have to have it

 

Darn....none on Ebay atm.

Result: 4.4/5.0 I kept the shave light today. No particular reason. Normally, I only shave once during the weekend but since my daughter had a Tae Kwon Do belt ceremony, I needed to shave both days. So this was my face rest option. I'll probably do the same tomorrow.
