Try that Vetiver and Noxema cream... talk about two smell monsters combining!

 

Dont have any of the Noxema.....but I have some Euro Palmolive cream.
Hmmmmmmmmm.

I like the woody + fruity (flowery) combos.
Patchouli and Rose , for example, is uN bELIevable.

  [*]Result: An outstanding BBS shave with the E-R razor & the Pella blade. No nicks, weepers or blood of any kind. Can't wait til tomorrow to give the Pella a run in another GEM SE. The Tabac continues to amaze me with its great lather and wonderful scent. I should use it more than a couple times a month. But I like the creams that I have better to shave with.

Actually, I needed to let my face heal after using a Ted Pella SE blade in one of my Gem razors. Ouch!

 

Didn't I already tell you? Single edge blades are for scraping paint.

 

*Sigh* That blade sure was. But I still like using my Gem razors on occasion. They are like the safety razor versions of a straight.

the scent of the Egyptian Palmolive mentholated cream is not very nice, at least to me, but the lather, skincare, and cooling are fantastic. I think the Big Ben in the Weishi made a big difference in my shave today--I'm almost BBS!

The new King of Shaves Azor razor did a great job on my cheeks and chin. However, it worked terribly on my neck. Perhaps it's the angle of the head geometry, combined with the fact that my neck hairs basically lay almost parallel to my skin, but I couldn't get the blades to cut my neck hair at all. I'll keep trying it with both traditional creams/soaps as well as the KoS gel/serum solutions, but I had to move to the Progress to do my neck. But as I said, it did a perfect, irritation-free job on the rest of my beard area.

Excellent bbs and the Thayers AS followed by the Thayers non alcoholic Witch Hazel with aloe is very soothing. The Big Ben blade from Lord is still going strong.

  [*]Result: I think I'm gonna sell all my Gillettes and remain loyal to the GEM razors. Now don't get all giddy D.Irving79, cause just because I say it doesn't mean I am going to do it. But got to say, this was one of the best shaves I have enjoyed in a long, long, time. BBS with the GEM and Pella combo. Not a nick or weeper just a smooth shave. The C&E cream whipped up easily and provided the necessary lube for this wonderful shave.
