One more time cuz it's so good!!

    Parker 91r razor
    Asco Orange blade
    Lord Emofresh SC
    Omega 10065 brush
    M&L Florida Water Cologne

  2. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    Shavemac 22mm silvertip
    1946-47 Aristocrat/Iridium
TGQ Bay Rum with sweet orange oil SS
    TSD Spring Equinox AS milk
    TGQ 'Leatherneck' extrait

I'll use this type razor maybe once or twice a month, and today was it. Yeah, I love the way these look and how they feel in my hand, and the shave is usually a nice one. It's just a smidge more aggressive than I normally like, but still one of the milder fixed head types I've tried.

The feather's not right for me in this razor, but the Iridium does the trick nicely. The results are a very close shave.........a little closer than when using my fatboy.

Man, it's been way too long since last using Colleen's soap. The stuff performs really well, plus it's my favorite of all the bay rum themed types. That little bit of orange oil seems to temper the blast of bay rum EO. Very nice!

Quite a pleasant way to start the morning, with BBS results.

    Gillette Tech w/ Feather blade
Crabtree & Evelyn Best Badger Brush
    Coates Sandalwood shave cream
Thayers Original witch hazel w/ aloe
Three Crowns Indian Sandalwood after shave milk
    St. Charles Shave sandalwood Edt.

Getting better all the time...a sandalwood party on my face today...the Coates is marvelous and long lasting, the combination of the newly replated Fat Handled Tech and Feather blade worked very well...on my way to see my son for a fall ball scrimmage (baseball) at SUNY Brockport.

The Speick Shave stick produced an excellent lather and I enjoyed an outstanding shave. The Royall Bay Rhum was a nice change of pace.

I was working in the garage, so late to shower, which turned out perfect, because I got an Icon handle in the mail!

    Saturday afternoon:

    Simpson Polo 8 Super
    Vintage Blades Rose cream
Muhle R89 with Gillette "Swede" blade
    Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel w/alcohol
    Clinique Post-Shave Healer
    Knize 10 EdT

Today was my first outing with the Muhle R89. It's a really well-built piece for its price point, and it produced a smooth, irritation-free shave with a new Swede loaded up. This razor might be a great option for those that are seeking a well-built, three piece razor that delivers a milder shave.

It's the best movie I've seen in ages. It's a spectacle. I just watched Lost Highway, which is good - but no Mulholland Dr.

    Song is gorgeous, huh?

Do you have the new R89 or the older one with the Open Comb??

I have the new one (together with the R106 and a DE87 underway) and I LOVE that razor :happy088

I have the R106 and the EJ DE89....and they are excellents razors.

    (Better than Parkers :laugh042)

  18. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    Shavemac 22mm silvertip
    1946-47 Aristocrat/Iridium
    TGQ Leatherneck SS
    TSD Spring Equinox AS milk
    TGQ 'Leatherneck' extrait

The Aristocrat gave me about as close a shave as I can remember, which makes up for having to pay more attention to detail with this thing. I came close to making a mistake on my ATG chin pass, but caught myself just in time. Yeah, I had that split second warning(pre bite......heh) and stopped right away.

The Leatherneck has to be my favorite scent of all the many soaps/creams I've used. Performance is excellent, and the lather has a great look to the stuff. Heh, even though I screwed it up a little this morning(no idea why), the results still worked well.

I believe some spontaneous facturbation is on the schedule for today.

    ...

Puig puts out a good fragrance but then turns out poor variations: Quorum Silver, Aqua Quorum - whatever! Lime Quorum would be a winner.
