    Wonderful shave this morning! The La Toja made a wonderful creamy slick lather and the I2 though not as aggressive as some of the earlier injectors is still quite efficient. Nothing like a great injector shave on a Friday looking forward toward the weekend. Have a great day and and even better weekend my friends!

    A bit of quick Googling brings up a listing for these blades at Tierra Santa Shaving (https://liorfe.com/products/q-ball-...latinum-double-edge-blades?variant=1079671920) that actually shows both together. It looks like the black Q-ball picture is probably a card placed in the front of the tuck and that the blades themselves look like your second picture.

    Just the kind of face-freezing shave I wanted and did I ever enjoy it. The Glacial Obsidian soap's lather was so thick, rich, as well as slick with a menthol wallop which felt almost painfully-cold even on the first pass. The matching balm soothed, moisturized, and froze my face so nicely leaving it smooth as silk. A couple of splashes of the Snake Bite completed the job and made me shiver some more! :happy088: :happy088:

    SOTD: Vintage Solingen steel for this morning's early morning shave. This restored Böhler-Stahl 5/8" is a sweet shaver that remains a fixture in my SR arsenal. L'Occitane 'Cade' soap, Omega silver tip and Fine Snake Bite finish.

    Razor: Gillette SS (`48 - `50)
    Blade: Personna Platinum Red ( 6)
    Lather: Nivea Gel
    A/S: Gillette Gel/Brut
    Newspaper Date: Nov. 22,1943

    A 2 pass shave, WTG and ATG/XTG. with the SS you rarely have any problems, as it was this morning, smooth and easy on both passes, with detailed clean up resulting in a Solid BBS. Best wishes for good shaves for everyone.
