Perhaps I'm just growing more refined as I gain experience but I can tell a fresh edge from, say one that still shaves decently but is just about ready for a touch up. The former is today's razor, yesterday's shave was the latter.

Tuesday MYCarver Butterscotch Chubby Arko SS in a mug Tech Bull Mastiff Shark SC (1) Nivea ASB IvyClub Spice Haven't used a Shark Super Chrome in a month or two and thought it would be good to revisit them with the pre-war tech bull mastiff frankenrazor. I was rewarded with a nice quality (mostly BBS) 3 pass shave that left my top layer of skin intact. My neck is still healing from the debacle last weekend, so Tuesday gets a respectable 4 / 5.

Happy Tuesday From Florida! Hot Shower Hot Towel RAB Scuttle Omega Boar 10015 TSD SOTQ A-3 = Jelly Doughnut Fat Handle Feather Portable Gillette Super Thin Blade (1) Nivea ASB Hoyt's Cologne 4 Passes = 5 Blade, Off The Hook, Inter-Galactic BBS! I picked up some Nivea the other day. There are so many folks here who use it, I figured I would try it too. The Nivea is a very nice ASB, but one thing that puzzles me, is why in this day and age of manufacturers moving from glass to plastic bottles has Nivea stayed with glass? Perhaps it is so that I feel a weight in my hand that distracts me from realizing I am paying $6.00 for 3.3 ounces of ASB??? Have a great day ya'll!
I was hoping for an initial report on the Injector or is it still enroute... Not sure if there is any left, but a few months ago Dollar General discontinued the Nivea ASB and was blowing it out for $1.75 a bottle. Not sure I would pay $6 a bottle, but at $1.75 I bought what they had left.
Sorry to let you down Dale! It is still enroute, but I just had to post the photo Rudy sent me or I was gonna pee my pants... On the Nivea - it figures I would come in on the end of a deal like DG had, I will go look. The bottle I got from Wally was $5.74, plus tax...
Tuesday Morning: Brush: Shea Moisture badger Soap: Col. Conk Almond Razor: EE Mos 100 straight Post: Witch Hazel, Corn Huskers, Florida Water I'm having so much fun with my jump into straight razors. These shaves have not been amazing by any means. But they have been good decent shaves. I'm looking forward to improving my technique and trying out some new blades.

Lime goes quite well with all my bay rums. Since the scent outlasts the bay rums, the lime notes increasingly emerge as the day wears on. This combo also works well with a menthol base.
