    Thursday - A Proraso Morning...
    • Proraso Pre/Post
    • Sara Bonnyman "Waterfall" shaving bowl
    • Proraso Cream
    • Frank Shaving Chrome Metal (23mm) - Finest Badger
    • Parker 94R - Closed Comb - Chrome
    • Gillette "The Spoiler" (4th shave)
    • Osage Rub
    • Proraso AS balm
    • Proraso AS lotion
Man, I love this Italian stuff. The Proraso shave is always one of my favorites! The Parker 94R is an amazingly good and inexpensive razor. It is very heavy, has an incredible grip and shaves beautifully. It compares very favorable to the Merkur 34HD but is significantly cheaper. For the maximum menthol effect, I whacked the Osage straight on my just-shaved, warm skin. Whew! My eyes were watering!! The Proraso AS balm is a fantastic product... are they really going to stop making it? :( Very nice finish with the Proraso AS lotion. Hmmm... next time I might put a drop of the M-Bomb in the after shave.

I am a day ahead of you guys in North America. I am pleased to report that Thursday is looking like a good day!

    Cheers, Lyndon - T

    Turkish Horsehair
    Super Speed/Sharp day 4
Valobra Menthol SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :smiley freezing:
    Hega AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui EDT

Once again, smooth as silk from my Super Speed/Sharp "partnership" - the Valobra Menthol soap lathers so nicely with the help of this Turkish horsehair brush, and it gives a lot of good skincare. The menthol effect is very subdued, but it's still there. The Hega aftershave is awesome. ;) :D

    Schick blade (4)
    Vie Long Cachurro brush
    J M Faser's original scent s/c
    Pinaud Special Reserve a/s

I love the tobacco and citrus combination. The old L Type hasn't been off the rack in a while, but as always it served well for a quick 3 pass shave.

    Have a great day everyone.

It has been a while since I have used the FaTip since the arrival of the Cadet Open Comb. In comparison it feels mild, although I had an outstanding shave with it this morning with just the stock handle.

Couldn't get a much nicer shave than the one this morning. Bowl lathered for the first time in a long time, enjoyable. Have a good one. This picture has nothing to do with today's shave. This is a brush that never worked out for me. It has a 28mm Super Badger knot. I don't remember all the lofts but the one in the pic is obviously high (60mm, guess). I took it all the way down to 50mm and it remained mushy. Cured me of super badgers, though.

    Proraso PSC
    Al's Bomb SC - Boheme
    Semogue 1460 Boar
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Brut Original ASB
    British Sterling Cologne

Haven't given the little Piccolo some love for quite a while so I'll give it a spin this morning. The Al's Bomb SC is amazing! The huge lather bomb this SC produces is outstanding as well as it's performance; then, there is the magnificent scent. If you are looking for a SC that is on par with the old English SC's give Al's a try. I'm sure he would appreciate his fellow forumites support besides, it's great stuff! :happy088:
