Got a little cocky and tried adding a against grain pass on my cheeks and neck. Right side neck had a nice weeper with irritation and redness all today into Saturday.

For some reason I felt like I had 5 0 clock shadow really early and I really needed a shave as I normally shave ever other day and its not too bad. I still had some irritation on my neck so thought I would try a tech as its a less aggressive razor, what a BAD idea. The spot that was irritated bleed a little but now my whole lower neck line is red. My cheeks feel great but my neck is red and slight burn. I am thinking its mostly my technique combined with a irritated spot already. Going to take a few days off from shaving and let my neck heal then see what happens.

Been a while since I slammed my Adjustable to #9, but I was inspired by 1OldGI's Shave.
I wasn't disapointed...Everything came together to make for a wonderful shaving experiance...And the Rapira blade was so sharp and smooth...they are "getting to be a habit with me"...

6 hours later and I still can't keep my hands off my face and neck.. no irritation, and still a super BBS...And so smooth...

An outstanding shave to finish up my vacation.

Found the VDH Select at a RiteAid in Maine. First time I'd seen it, so I grabbed it. Smells just like the Deluxe, so I knew a little spritz of cologne wouldn't hurt it. Lathered like a champ and, as you can tell from the shave rating, gave a great shave. Not much different from the Deluxe that I can tell. As the Deluxe has aloe, a difference may be noticed if used on a daily basis.

An excellent shave this morning--couldn't ask for much better. The Thayer's Lavender WH contains aloe and is alcohol free, making it a good choice for those with sensitive skin. Personally, I don't mind a little alcohol and prefer the scent of Thayer's Lemon, although both are very pleasant.

With the reappearance of a certain Fuzzy one around these parts, it reminded me that I have never subjected the Williams soap to the experimenting I tried to some of my other soaps earlier this month.

Following the same rules that I had used, the Williams had a fantastic first pass lather, an acceptable second pass lather, but I had to briefly reload the brush for the 3rd and touch up pass.

Now add that to the usual struggle I seem to have with later model injectors to get the whiskers in certain spots, and I'll call this a 3.5 blade shave.
