SOS: September 2018

Yeah I bought a bottle last summer in Germany for me and two smaller ones for my boys. I think they thought it was just OK. I had to find something shave related while walking around with the crowd. It is good stuff for sure. I need use it more often. I also bought my daughter a little sampler pack of little perfumes - instead of the typical stuffed animal, etc. She really liked it so I guess I got something right for once!

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: GEM PTFE

Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

A little quarter turn(maybe less) looser and this razor will become one of your most aggressive razors. But man what an experience.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The De Vergulde Hand Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger brush. I did two passes with the Supply Provision Safety Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Clubman Pinaud AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

What are your thoughts on the WSP knot?

 

If you like bright, complex, citrus I think you'll be pleased.
