Shampoo - Paul Mitchell (Tea Tree) Lavender Mint
    Shower Soap - WSP Barbershop
    [IMG]
Fragrance - Creed - Bois du Portugal
Aftershave - Country Club for Men - Custom Scent "Eau de Brando"
Shave Soap - Country Club for Men - Custom Scent "Eau de Brando"
Deodorant - Country Club for Men - Custom Scent "Eau de Brando"
    Preshave Oil - Lather & Wood's "Unscented"
Post-shave Balm - Retseliney Luxury Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
Razor - Vintage Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 (re-plated in nickel by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - [IMG] *3rd Shave
    Razor Stand by RV Shaving
Brush - Declaration Grooming "Fatty" in custom green color
Brush stand by Josh Lindt of Desire Metal Works. His work of art is called "Diner".

This is such a classic, great scent profile. One of my favorites.

***EDIT - I opted for a bath in the late morning and the shave was a 3-pass BBS masterpiece. I'm so glad I spent months contacting various artisans and putting together this custom shave set. I'm shocked more people don't do it. Yeah, it costs a bit but it's an investment in enjoyment. The carefully selected and niche and custom products really paid off with shaves like today. Such a great experience on my holiday off where I can soak in the tub and then have a special shave that was highly enjoyable. It doesn't get any better than this. Today showcases how good a well assembled shaving set and carefully picked toiletries can make you feel.

****EDIT PART 2 - Also, for lunch I had a salad along with a beer that really seems to fit the Bois du Portugal scent. I know some people enjoy a spiffy beverage with their shave (which I should have done in retrospect today!). At my local supermarket there is a special section where you can "build a six-pack" of craft-beer. There are like 30 different odd-ball, small-brewery beers to pick from. Today I tried one that is new to me that I never heard of from "Bad Beat Brewing" called "Hoppytimes". They describes the beer aroma as citrus-pine-dry, which I think really goes well with the barbershop-dirty-lavender scent of the day in my shave theme. And sure enough, this beer's whole scent and flavor worked great in combination with my scent of the day. I just thought I'd pass this along if you happen to have this beer in your area and want a brew to pair with a barbershop scented theme that includes any kind of lavendar in addition to a Clubman-Pinaud type region of scent. I think this beer's 'pine' type aroma really works with a shave like this. I only wish I had thought ahead to try this together with my shave!

    Amazing #SOTD
RazoRock Game Changer is my all time favorite razor, I get great face and head shaves with it. I used a Gillette Silver Blue (2) was pleased with it.
Stirling Soap Mountain Man is simply the goods. The stuff rocks. Smells awesome.
The SS Butterscotch Finest Badger is good, but I'm a synthetic guy, nothing against this brush. It's great
The RR Pre Barba is really a nice product.
    Be a blessing..

    New
Todays shave was with a perfectly ground, and super sharp, German Razor. I had the perfect 2 pass shave, with BDBS results. Excellent razor, in all respects. If I found another, in decent shape, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Sometimes, the lesser known razors are the best. This is no exception. I also used two different brushes, in a comparison. Results in the Brush section.

Razor- Lessman Bros. "Angelian Steel". Germany.
    Brushes-
    1. JR#262, Birdseye Maple and Ebony. With Whipped Dog Silvertip Knot.
    2. RazoRock 400, with Whipped Dog High Mountain Badger Knot.
    Soap- Arko Stick
    Aftershave- Florida Water

4711 is pretty awesome for summer. If I didn't have so many scents in my collection 4711 would be used a lot more.
