My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Crema Da Barba face lathered well with the Jayaruh #369 Brush. I did two passes with the Wade & Butcher 5/8 razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I received this antique Springreiter stick as a gift from an old friend of mine in Germany something like fifteen years ago and I almost forgot that I had it. Anyway, a hell of a good soap - the scent is clean, soapy, and nice, it gives fantastic lather which is rich with good slickness, and it’s very skin friendly. I vaguely remember this stick back in the 1980s when my Dad brought one back from Germany because he was there on a business trip. The Fino balm felt great when I massaged it on and the Black Garter is another vintage cologne which American barbershops used as an aftershave - it has a lovely old school scent which is right up my alley. The new Gillette blade gave me a brilliant BBS shave!

LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West Brushworks/Elilte Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Clubman Whiskey Woods aftershave.

I am ok with the cut thanks.

However, earlier today i slipped and bounced my full body weight off my ribs as i landed on a corner of some furniture.

This f******* hurts!

 

Dude! Be careful! Ribs crack easily and heal slowly!

 

I went from an SE back to this Super SlimTwist the other day and am getting some of my best shaves ever. Not the best looker, imo, but maybe they were going for a more delicate look as a counterpoint to the Fatboy or something.

TGN 2-band in a vintage Simms brush.
