    Ebonized Tech/BIC. GD Fortis soap base makes good first impression, superb post shave.

    One poster suggested shimming the Tech top and bottom, works for me . Very apparent increase in efficiency. More blade feel but certainly not a problem.[​IMG]

    In a similar vein, today, with my GFBT, I used a soap which i felt doesn't get in the way of the blade as much as others can (eg Arko)
    I found this really helped with the shave overall.

    Brush: Vie-Long 13052 Horse
    Soap: OSP Bay Rum
    Razor: Karve CB with D plate OC
    Blade: Astra SP
    Post: Cold water rinse, RR Black Bay ASL

    I really like the OC plate, pretty efficient, especially when taking the head off a spot.
    It was still a very enjoyable shave.

    Hi Friends,

    here my belated Sunday Shave (22.09.2019)

    Razor: Mühle R41 +Jürgen Hempel Handle
    Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium
    Soap: Klar Klassik
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Aftershave: Klar Klassik

    Great Shave. I have been at my Dermatologist and he gave me some creams to use to make me, and my skin feel better. Man, it helped so much.

    What a fantastic feeling, when you are able to enjoy your shaves again. Wow!!!

    I won't loose many words about the Klar Klassik Soap and Aftershave. I deeply adore it!!!

    The R41 wasn't overly aggressive in combination with this blade. Gentle and smooth but i was aware, that it could (and would) bite in just one second of not beeing concentrated. Gladly nothing happened.

    All in all a super fine shave which i enjoyed a lot.
