Thank you Gary. Using the Eco for the first time was fun and a bit unique over the thicker AC blades in the Hawk.

Same here Jeff. I hadn't used my Godrej puck in a long while and broke it out Thursday to pack something small for traveling. It is good stuff and you don't see it used much here but I think it is very under rated. I just wish it was mentholated like your cream. Nice shave my friend.

    Fat Friday SEptember 27th

A second shave with the Oneblade Genesis... A third shave with this Feather blade might be tough for my beard but I'll give it a shot. Or I may go for a Gem blade and see the difference. Happy shaves and happy weekend everyone.

I had originally planed on using a different razor today but, i just couldn't contain my excitement with the new 'Slim i picked up so i switched it out. Not many days left to Fat-Tober so i am trying to use a few favourite soaps before the lock-in. The Imperial Leather is proper old school shaving soap and is an utter joy to use. The A/S is just a splash really but its all about synergy with me atm so in the pile it went this morning. I really have a soft spot for this little brush. It doesn't look much does it? But its great for face lathering. I like the bristles (and the handle) better than than my similar sized Omega. It is a better brush imho. I also like it that its quite a good fit for the brushes used back in the day. Its very like a Culmac Junior, etc in its form. Its a good vintage fit.
The razor is a joy. I thought i wouldn't like its shave but the lightness and balance (slightly head heavy) is super. I seem to prefer lighter, head heavy razors as i find the feedback and agility much better and the slim is all of that. It is a lovely mild but efficient shaver.
I like the TTO at the top as well. It makes loading very easy.
So, a lovely DFS shave was had and no alarms and no surprises!
No rain today but the weather is getting cold so its time to winterise the garden and all.

    Happy shaves!
