    Cold Water Rinse
Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #224
    Fredrick Reynolds 5/8
    CWS
    Barbasol AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 Brush. I did two passes with the Fredrick Reynolds 5/8 and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/new Dorco
    Gilly’s Lush Life SS
    Nord Ost ASB
    Alt Innsbruck AS Splash

I’m not so sure about these Dorco blades - in fact I have doubts that this one will even last for three shaves because it seems like it’s half-dull and it’s brand-new. Yes, I have a very tough beard but whenever I use a blade for the first time I get a great, effortless shave but I had to really work at it today. The Lush Life soap was so enjoyable - the scent is beautiful, the lather exploded off my brush, and the menthol sensation, although not too strong felt very good. The Nord Ost balm delivered great soothing with lots of moisturizing as well as a good menthol effect of its own and the Alt Innsbruck felt icy cold, not to mention how lovely it smells. Three passes were needed to accomplish my BBS mission.

This is the very first time I see, on a shaving forum, a tribute to Italian politicians!

Celebrating three days late my parents' marriage (they won't mind...) I opted for a soap with an Autumn scent.
Alas, I also opted for a wrong marriage: the Mühle did not get along acceptably with the Permasharp Stainless, so, for the second pass, I used it on another Saxon razor: the 39C and, this time, I felt the blade cutting as it is supposed to do!
And, thanks to the first, sham, pass, I felt also the alcohol in the aftershave.
But I survived until today and you don't if you're not tough!
Hence I did not scream, depriving myself of an emotional outlet!
