@Electrif ’s 1914 inspired me to break out my 1924 which, coincidentally appears to be a cousin of his. Both the 1914 and 1924 are among my favorite razors, maybe my favorite SEs. Anyhow, a wonderful shave all the way around, a real pleasure

Thanks Jody! This razor did not disappoint and provided an unbelievably wonderful shave but I'm missing the hell out of my gallbladder today & it's only been gone a couple days. So ya got yourself a deal, slap that puppy on ice & I'll personally deliver all my Rotbart's to you.

Hurricane Ida’s backwash led to severe flooding here in southeast Pa. Yours truly was caught in a flash flood from a local creek in the car. The water seeped in and rose to chest level before para-rescue could get to me. Hopefully the car’s not ruined. The only decent part of yesterday was the arrival of this sweet little Klas Tornblom 4/8 straight razor. I’ve been hearing about these little razors for a while. Everyone kept repeating about the hardness of the steel and honing difficulties. After about 45 minutes on my Chosera 1k with little progress, I decided to pull out the big guns. I own a very aggressive artificial waterstone set (1k, 6k, 10k) made by Pride Abrasives based in Wisconsin, USA that I use for my W2 and Cru Forge V steel knives.

Given what I’d heard and that I only paid $15 for the razor, I decided to give the Pride set a shot. The 1k stone set the bevel with ease and after taking it through the 6k and 10k, I was very happy with the results. A 3000k slurry on my jasper stone really burnished the bevel beautifully leading to a finish in water until I had good stiction. You can see the shiny bevel in the photo. The mug shave was amazing. This little razor obliterated my facial stubble in two passes. There was really nothing left to shave after that second pass. All I can say is wow! Klas Tornblom built one heck of a shaver! I'm a believer! My Leresche 77 delivered its usual superb dome shave in two ATG passes. I feel cool, clean, and amazingly smooth.

POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme Balm.

This antique Colgate stick is the forerunner of the well known and well loved Palmolive ones. I bought this one from a seller in Sweden on EBay some years ago and if I’m not mistaken it dates back to the 1940s, I believe it’s made in Sweden or possibly Denmark but either way it still lathers great - very little scent but it gives such thick, rich, slick lather and a comfortable postshave feeling. The Bull Dog moisturizer is so soothing as well as gentle on the skin, and I smell absolutely irresistible from the Bleu de Chanel trio. What a tip top BBS shave this was!

The LaToja Shaving Stick lathered well with Jayaruh #426 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Twinjector with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I see the Lea Aftershave says "3 in 1". What are the other two features(besides shaving, of course)?
