Reaching for the Leader is never a mistake :happy036: And at the risk of repeating myself, the Savile Row is head and shoulders above any of my other brushes. Simply wonderful in every way.

    Razor: LASSC BBS-1

    Blade: Wilkinson Light Brigade (4).

This is my first shave with the LASSC BBS-1. I am now ruined; this razor (my grail razor) is the epitome of shaving excellence and lives up to the hype. My other razors are about to get very lonely...

    Today's shave: Williams Wednesday

Pre-shave: Hot shower; St. Ives Acne Control Apricot Scrub
    Soap: Williams, c. 2014 vintage
    Brush: RazoRock Snowman
    Razor: Gillette Slim, setting 4
Blade: daylogic (Personna Israel) - 4th shave
    Aftershave: Meijer (Vi-John) Spice

Found an unboxed puck of Williams in my tote of shave gear that's been sitting there in the open air for years. It's now odourless, er, unscented.

Following the trend set earlier by Mama Bear's Aromatic Pipe tobacco soap, this is a soap I've never much cared for that, having sat for years, performs much better now than I remember. Today I had no trouble face-lathering Williams to perfection, and got the best Williams shave ever. Now I can appreciate how some guys love this stuff.

    Greetings,

    Early Morning Shave,

A wonderful shave to finish my shaving week off in style.

The Wickham 1912 Classic 24 sample soap is something i totally forgot about and is a joy to shave with providing a wonderfully scented slick protective lather, and a great post shave feel...i also have a small amount of the Irish fern soap sample which i will use up in a future shave...Wickham shaving soaps have such great scents.

My first week Dorco DE blade focus have performed wonderfully providing me with comfortable acceptable shaves.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick-ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe vera Gel.

My face is feeling smooth cool & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    Thursday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Palmolive Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger
    Schick M Adjustable
    Supply Black Label Blade
    CWR
    Florida Water

The Palmolive Shaving Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M Adjustable and a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/Wilkinson Sword day 9
    Lyko SC
    Prep ASB
Folsom & Company Black Powder AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel Parfum

This Lyko cream is from India and apparently very popular in barbershops over there. It’s also very cheap in India but it’s a TERRIFIC cream. The scent is very nice - it’s aqua, sporty, with minty notes, it’s got such thick, rich, slick, protective lather with a mild but pleasant menthol sensation, and it’s very skin friendly. The Prep really needs no description or explanation because it’s so good, and the Black Powder aftershave’s scent is lovely but it moves out of the way when the Bleu de Chanel goes on. Two passes were enough for a great BBS shave!

Enjoy your day - be well and safe!

Excellent Star 1912 shave! It is such a pleasure to shave with. Lavender added to the pleasure.

    Razor - Star 1912
Blade - GEM Personna SS 3rd
    Pre-shave - TOBS Herbal Gel
Soap - Castle Forbes Lavender cream
    Brush - Simpson T1 Trafalgar
Post - Thayers Toner "Rose Petal" & Proraso balm
AS - Pinaud Clubman "Whiskey Woods"

Shaving with the Star is always a pleasure. Razor glides nice with no worries of nicks. I got super close with a 2-pass shave WTG & ATG with no cleanup. No feedback from alum bar and zero cuts, nicks, or errors. I hope all have a pleasant day!
