Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch Shaving Soap.
Razor: Schick I1 Injector. 1955-58 (Head/Dome) - Schick Japanese Twin. (D2)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) - (D4)

(Face & Head Shave)

The Schick Twin blades are expensive but the longevity efficiency, and smooth comfortable performance they provide is absolutely superb and the cost of them is well worth justified.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SXDGS 5/8 Razor gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I bought some because I enjoy Sandal wood scents, this one is different from the TOBS herbal scented sandalwood cream. It has a fruiter mild scent(plum or apricot scent to me) but it works. True sandalwood is a sweet scent from other soaps I have used.

 

DE SOTD, Saturday, September 14th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Mellon 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023> mid range. Excellent design, machining and finish QC for a nice shaving razor. This razor works well with a slight shallow angle(riding the cap) for mostly carefree shaving I have also used a Steep approach angle and it works but not as good as shallow. The audio feedback is a sizzling sound of whiskers being sniped. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Perma-sharp (4) sharp and smooth. Top 1of 5 tier blades in my collection.
Soap : TOBS herbal sandalwood, nice strong scent 7/10 of great cream + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Black marble" 24mm 3band silvertip. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. I have 2 Yaqi silver tip badgers that just have this large bloom that occurred from 1 st cleaning, great overall brush for working my face.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Mellon head SS razor with a Perma-sharp blade.

Relaxing Sunday Morning Shave.

the Goodfellas' Smile Abysso Shaving Soap & ASL duo which provided me with another exceptional shave the lathering performance of the shaving soap is superb providing a great slick protective wonderfully scented lather in a short space of time. The matching ASL finished the shave off excellently.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Sunday Shave (15.09.2024)


Razor: RazoRock SLOC // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: Soap Commander Heritage // Brush: PAA Solar Flare // Aftershave: Alum - TFS Witch Hazel

Let´s kick off fall in style with this absolutely wonderful soap.

A monument of a soap. A scent, created for this time of year. Autumn screams from every pore. Like it says on the lid we have Pumpkin, Peach and Caramel Apple and exactly this is what you get. Stunning scent. A masterpiece from Soap Commander.

Lather was built fast and easy, slick and protective, so the SLOC had no problems shaving the whiskers off. A great little razor. Extremely mild but with a good efficiency.

2,5 passes later the shave was done. Sad because the shave was really enjoyable and very very smooth.

Applied the Alum Block which had zero feedback and the Witch Hazel refreshed and soothed my face. What a wonderful shave.
