The Morning Shave.
The Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade was in my 1950’s Gillette British Rocket FlareTip today.
1st use on this blade from the Saloon pack.
Very nice daily shave to start the week. No weepers or irritation.

Arko isn’t to everyone’s taste regarding the scent, it can be a little citronella.
The scent does dissipate quite quickly, however the creamy dense lather from Arko is as good as anything.

I always bowl lather, similar method to Uncle Laurie, 2-3 minutes whipping a great lather.

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette New Standard (1921) Razor and the Gillette Super Blue Blade X3 (11) gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Once again I must have to much time on my hands cuz I was perusing ETSY again and came across the Azalea City Suds site. Looked at the formula and thought it looked good and ordered some. Got the Iconoclast scent (which is really nice) and tried it this morning. Not to shabby either. Have to work on my water/soap ratio but got a pretty good lather. The brush is new with a cashmere knot and I love the cashmere knots. So a nice shave was had and ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Did I ever freeze my kisser off - wow, this Glacial Citron soap and aftershave are WONDERFUL. The scent is brilliant - lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a bit of tangerine all come together beautifully to make this stuff so refreshing and summery, the soap lathers like there’s no tomorrow, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is perfect. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so soothing as well as chilly, and the Glacial Citron aftershave went on with its frigid menthol kick. Finally the Eau Sauvage fragrance which is so old school classy and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement. Three glorious passes gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave!
