Yes, I like it so much I bought a 2nd one. In a different finish and with a shorter, fatter handle. I think it' a great head design.

I also have a Mühle R41 (the 2019 version, which is less scary than the original 2011 "Face Eater"), and while it feels more aggressive, it's not any more effective than V3A.

The b-pure Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #455 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Micromatic Bullet Tip Razor and the Personna PTFE SE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SE SOTD, Friday September 6th 2024

Razor : Yaqi SE Romulus 316 SSP head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent design, machining and finish QC. Small head parts make for a enjoyable nimble shave with great results. If a person wants a little more blade feel just use a Feather pro super(wider blade) or shim for more blade feel(Blade exposure).
Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai Captain titian mild(6) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity with this razor.
Soap : Proraso green Eucalyptus, masculine scent with Eucalyptus and menthol + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Viper" 24mm boar bristle. Excellent lather generator, soft split hair bristle tips , nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. One of my better boar brushes to work the face.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso green lotion with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus razor with a Kai CTM blade.

My Astra Green blade surprised me with one last hoorah - never did I expect it to last for three passes because it really dulled out a lot. The Irisch Moos stick is now a vintage item - its scent is so beautiful, it’s such a great latherer, there’s lots of slickness to it, and it’s so skin friendly - why oh why was it discontinued? The Aveeno moisturizer is unscented, it works so well as a balm, and finally the heavenly Bleu de Chanel fragrance which I love so much. What an awesome shave this was!
