Lather: Williams Shaving Mug soap.
Razor: Ever Ready 1914. (US) (brass) - Gem Personna PTFE SS. (D1)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) - (D2)

A wonderful performance from the Ever-Ready 1914.

I have repeated myself in many of my postings by saying if I had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving I probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything that is required for a close comfortable shave.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The b-pure Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #455 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ralf Aust 5/8 Straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Gee, is this Glacial Iceberg Island scent ever GORGEOUS. It’s an exact copy of the Island Man which is an exact copy of the Creed Virgin Island Water. The soap gave me tons of fabulous lather which was so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation hit me like a ton of frigid bricks, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer worked its magic - it’s not only very cooling, it’s so soothing, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful scent that I love so much. A special thanks to Rod and Mandy for creating these two treasures. The brand new Astra Green blade helped ensure another perfect three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

I expected this combination to be slightly less aggressive than the “original” V3A /Yintal (they are essentially the same), because that Mühle top cap looked extremely similar to the Maggard one, but covered more of the blade.

It was actually a bit more aggressive. A very close shave with a healthy amount of blade feel. This is going to become a regular.
