Razor: Henson ++ with Jürgen Hempel Ti // Blade: Gillette yellow // Soap: SV Felce Aromatica // Brush: Jannik WH // Aftershave: Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera Geld

Due to skin irritations on my neck not the best shave. Very smooth, gentle and thoroughly on the rest of the face but i could only shave WITH the grain on the irritated spot. Used Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera Gel to smooth and heal.

An 8 out of 10

The Williams Mug Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Micromatic Plastic Bullet Tip Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Not only am I almost numb from this Glacial Frozen Tuxedo stuff, I smell absolutely BEAUTIFUL. (Even the wife said so!) This soap has such a magnificent scent, the lather is so thick, rich, as well as super slick, the menthol sensation is almost borderline painful, (in a good way!) and the postshave care is fantastic. The Gold Bond moisturizer has plenty of menthol in it also and it’s so soothing. Finally the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave went on with two boatloads of frigid menthol and its gorgeous scent. Another most enjoyable three pass BBS shave - wowzer!

For today’s shave I went to another of my desert island razors the Muramasa Ti and for the first time I used Terry’s Soap.

The Muramasa never disappoints! In titanium it’s even more perfect. Set at a three and left there it was such a smooth, relaxing shave I went for four passes! I really love this razor and it might be my favorite in my den. Tatara makes amazing razors. I own all of their razors and some in SS and Ti both. They really are tops.

I had purchased this set from Terrys a while back and never got to it. I’m regretting I didn’t try it previously. A great base. Slick, cushiony, exploding with lather. And an excellent scent on Jeon Uchi. I’ve gotten multiple compliments already. Can’t wait to get to the other sets I have from Terrys.

An excellent mid-week shave! Tomorrow I’m off to the dr to see how I go forward with my back injury. Fingers crossed. Have an excellent back half of the week! Great shaves!
