    Prep: hot shower
Razor: Geo. Wostenholm & Son CANUCK I-XL
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Arkostick
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Alum

It's been awhile since I've used the Arko shave stick, wow did it make lather! I had the tip of the stick sitting in warn water while I showed. It seemed to help with getting the soap from the stick to my face. I shook out too much water from my brush, but still got an amazing amount of lather relatively quickly and easily. I did add soon water to the brush to thin it out. Two passes, reopened the cut beside my mustache and still have trouble on my neck, but otherwise a nice shave.

    Schick Plus Platinum
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH

The ARKO Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my new Turkish #6 Brush. Two passes with my Schick L-1 and Schick Plus Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Hi my Friends,

i endet my second cold water shave (which i really enjoyed) with the following equipment:

    -Prep: homemade Preshave
-Soap: I Coloniali (sample of the new Version)
    -Brush: Semogue 620 Boar
    -Razor: Toro Mastiff
    -Blade: Triton R3
    -Aftershave: CH Pitralon

Damn fine shave!!! I think i found the Holy Grail of shaving soaps for me. The skin care after the shave is the best i ever had. The I Coloniali created so many great, creamy lather...outstanding. And this scent...this scent...:love029::love055: DEEP L-O-V-E

The Swiss Pitralon pairs nicely to the I Coloniali. It was not necessary but i used it. Just for the feeling.;)

So, i hope you had (and will have) great shaves. Take care and have fun whatever you do.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Sunday:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Facial Scrub Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Croap: RazoRock One-X
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (1, 2, 3)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock One-X AS splash
Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron

Two days unexpectedly under the weather left me plenty of stubble to attack this AM; as expected, the One-X and Bic were more than up to the task. I took a little extra time with the prep this morning because I hadn't shaved since Thursday, which probably helped. The One-X is probably the easiest lathering soap I own, with ample lather for 5 passes from 20 seconds worth of swirling the brush over it. BBS shave without irritation, nicks, or any sting from the alum.

Well, this was a pretty good shave but the Sharp blade suddenly decided to weaken on me. It was doing ok until I started on my second pass and then it was a bit of a struggle. I felt some tugging, especially on my neck but I still ended up with an almost DFS+ shave. The MITA (thanks again to my dear friend Ryan!) is such a lovely soap - my man Rod is a hell of a genius because this soap not only smells great, it also lathers so easily and gives an excellent menthol kick. The Floid Classic is also terrific in the cooling department and it has very, very good skincare. I'll soon need some more of it. ;) :D

    Shave of the day

    Pre- Hot shower

    Soap/cream- Haslinger schafmilk

    Brush- The body shop Synthetic

    Razor- Schick dial(5)

    Blade- Schick injector blade(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, Speick for men and Nivea aftershave balm

Second shave with a Schick. I was very careful again so I didn't cut myself, I had it on 5 today(3 yesterday). It went a bit better.

I managed to get a irritation free shave today too, but I really don't know about these blades. They are a bit tuggy.

I think I will get some new blades and try them in it. But I feel like I wanna concentrate on mastering the technique with DE and my MMOC before committing to my Schick. I might put it on the shelf for now. I will decide after I try the other blades I'm planning to buy=)

    SOTD - Sunday

    Prep - CWS

    Cream - Proraso green

    Brush - WD Silvertip

    Razor - Parker 91r

    Blade - Bolzano Superinox

    AS - Proraso Green splash

This was a nice two pass shave with touch ups. This was my first time using the Bolzano blade. I had a tuck from a sampler that I never tried after I fell in love with Rapira PL. This is definitely a top tier blade for me. However, it was still not good enough to unseat my Rapira PLs. Also, even on sale they are more than double the cost.

    Amazing shave
I love Synergy Coconut Bay. It lathers easily and provides plenty of protection and great post shave feeling. The SC101 made comfortable work of my stubble and the Bay Rum Tonic was a nice finisher.

    Prep: Nutregena face cleanser
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
Razor: Gillette new open comb (long)
    Blade: Ladas
    soap: Tiki Frosted Woodlands
    Post: none
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented

I woke up yesterday morning just in time to make it to my daughter's soccer game, and ended up not shaving. So, with 2 days growth, I spent a little extra time to make sure my whiskers were well hydrated.

This was the first time I had used any of the TIKI soaps, and was pleased. The sample I got makes a very slick lather, that felt fantastic with the very first pass. 2 more passes and I have a truly outstanding shave this morning. Everything just fell into place.

Have you signed up for folding @ home?
