Tonight's shave was with another German razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Very well built razor.

Razor- Dovo, Best Quality. Solingen Germany.
Brush- Omega 10066 Boar. Lots and lots of Backbone.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy scented
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice, 1986. Red, Gold, and Blue lettering and ship.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did just one pass with the Igor SE Razor by Tom and a CVS SE blade because that is all I needed. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Jamie's Night Shave...

• STIRLING Margaritas in the Artic Glacial / W.H. Aloe / Splash
• PAA ROCKET - 26mm synth - handle mimics a rare vintage ever-ready, beast of a brush for 12.95 [bargain].
• Lady Eversharp injector - Schick Type H aka "the HUSSY". Had this for months and finally used it for 1st time loaded with a NOS Vintage K-Mart blade. I did a 3 pass shave with a lots of pick ups on the neck. The 1st 2 passes I did not have proper angle and it was not cutting enough and was too mild, once I finally found the angle, wow was it cutting like a Type E but easier. I need to dig out some Karl posts as he explained the angle in detail - fun shave and I look forward to learning proper angle for all passes.

So little of SEptember left! To make the most of it I moved on to the wedge razors. This Henkel Rapide is new to me. I've had it for well over a year but never got to it as I fell into the straight razor hole along the way. Not a favorite of either @twhite or @Billyfergie so I had low expectations which were easily exceeded. Ended up with a face-rubbing worthy shave. A little harsher than some. It has a limited sweet spot that likes a flat angle. At that point it does a wonderful job.

Three days left for SEptember so a day on each SE. Tonight is the Schick M2. This razor has given me the best shaves of the month and tonight was no exception. Keeping it about halfway up on the dial this thing is a race car for me. Sixth trip on the blade and it's as smooth and effective as ever. I chose the Stirling Ozark Mountain and my brand new Stirling Synthetic brush. (I ordered my wife a jar of Witchy Woman Body Butter and a Bath Bar from Stirling and slipped a new brush in.)
The brush is a 26mm knot and heavy and really did a number on the lather. Great feel and scent. Two and a half passes and the baby is sleeping soundly.

Tomorrow night I'll use the E2 injector, then finish on Saturday with the Gem 1912. Have a great Friday!

Excellent Shave
The brush has softened quite a bit already. I've soaked it overnight for a couple days and scrub it into a towel to dry. I have learned to load this boar much much more than I would with a synthetic. Himalaya has a very comforting almost warm scent and top performance.
