The Mitchell's Wool Fat face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip brush. First pass with my Micromatic Bullet-tip razor and a GEM Stainless Single Edge blade followed by second pass with the Gillette SC NEW gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal as an after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here's a really nice set-up with plenty of chilliness to it. I'll soon need some more Neutrogena facial wash because I'm running low on it and it has a good amount of menthol in it. The MITA is such a lovely and icy soap - it can really wake you up in the morning and keep you going. Great lather, I love the scent, and it's so skin-friendly. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream not only moisturizes very well, it's downright COLD with terrific soothing and it has a scent which is just about identical to Noxzema. The Rubby Dubby Doo feels like being outside in thirty below zero weather! ;) :D

Had no problem mowing down the whiskers this morning with my freshly reloaded Feather MR3, and the Tabac. Smooth and comfortable. Finished up with the Clubman. Great start to a fine day.

My second shave this week was on Wednesday, with my current travel setup of Feather hard ware, Mühle travel shave brush STF, Jabonman Lavanda shave soap, Alum and Tüff sensitiv after shave.
Must have had that rarest of oddities - a bad Feather blade, because my neck was glowing red from razor burn, something I have not had in years.

The third shave this week was yesterday, the day of a job interview, hence played it very safe on the still slightly irritated neck and substituted the Feather hardware with a Gillette Sensor cartridge. The shave soap was Calani's Malabar, nothing else changed.

@crackstar ...I have to admit that whoever came up with that name and label for "Margaritas In The Arctic" deserves a standing ovation!! That label kills...and it makes me think I know exactly how great it is...ha,ha....But now that you dig it....Well, I always want to try all the frozen delights that you come up with....(Y)

    Friday's Late Night Shave
    Hot whisker rinse
    Arko Stick-the original lather bomb
Omega 10029-Huge lather from a small package
    Schick E2/Schick d2
    Witch Hazel (Dickenson's generic rebrand)
    Clubman's AS/Classic Vanilla

What can I say....this classic early E2 that opens to clean...it's what you would call a 'Bb' razor...meaning a razor that you see alot of...thats not unusual or different. Except that it delivers the easiest closest smoothest shaves I've ever seen!....

This is such an easy razor to take forgranted...and while the Schick Magazine Repeaters are obviously Masterpieces of Functional Art...The lowly E2 is a masterpiece in effective simplicity...The good Col was a genius...

Mine looks like that as well. Aren't that the normal design? I have never seen one here (of recent date) that looks otherwise.

Rod, the owner of Stirling Soaps is so creative. The MITA soap I used today is a really delightful chin-chiller! ;) :)

I enjoyed this shave so much - the MITA soap whipped up into a wonderful, chilly citrusy-scented lather and left my skin feeling born again as well as BBS. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream reminded me of the barbershop I went to when I first moved here to Canada, and the scent of it and the menthol cooling from it were heavenly. The Rubby Dubby Doo couldn't have felt better! :) :happy088:
