Personna Magic Razor w/ Voskhod (3) Merkur Progress @ 2.5 w/ Voskhod (4) TGN Silvertip Badger AOS Lavender PreShave Oil Godrej Menthol Mist L'Oreal ComfortMax AS Balm Today I wasn't able to get as close a shave with the "straight" as I have been the last two times, and I'm wondering if it could be the blade. Initially I thought that it couldn't be since a Voskhod will easily outlast 3 shaves, but then I realized that since the Personna only uses half the blade, the one half could be getting double the action, and thus be worn out after half the shave. I'll put a new one in tomorrow and find out. And in the spirit of Adjustable Week, cleanup was with the Progress. Also Menthol Mist is phenomenal. As usual.

Tuesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/new 7 AM Euro Palmolive Classic SC Hega AS (from Sweden, and excellent!) Azzaro Pour Homme EDT I should definitely shave more often with this Euro Palmolive Classic cream or the stick version because both of them are so good. My skin always feels so clean and smooth without any irritation from a shave with Palmolive Classic, and this Hega aftershave from Sweden allows me to not use a moisturizer - although it's alcohol-based, it never stings or burns. On the contrary, it feels very comfortable and cool.

Just pointed out the existence of this thread to somebody else, so I may as well put in an appearance. Speick Shave Stick VdH "luxury" badger brush Gem Junior Bar CVS blade Using a shave stick is like starting the shave with a magic trick. I still get a kick out of how the thin, unpromising coat of soap that I apply to my face magically turns into a rich lather when I work it over with a brush. And then there's enough in the brush to re-lather at least a couple more times, probably more if it were needed.
