    Bulgari Blu Notte-EDT

Another very nice cream from India which arrived last Friday--Wild Stone has an amazing kind of lather with a lovely scent, as well as good skincare. Some menthol in it makes a shave even more enjoyable. (At least for me!) ;) :D

Nana June's Spearmint & Eucalyptus Soap
    Merkur 23C

    Booster's Mosswood A/S

4 Passes = 4 Blade DFS. The Merkur 23C hands on my wall among a plethora of razors, and therefore I feel that I must use it in a rotation, but I have razors that I like better.

    Have a great day ya'll!

    Erasmic Cream
    Ever-Ready re-knotted badger
    Schick Golden 500 injector
    Pella Blade (7)

Unusually for me, exactly the same stuff as yesterday.

Seven shaves on a Pella injector blade seems to be about it for me. The Schicks may last a few shaves longer, but I suppose I don't have enough data.

    Razor: EJ Chatsworth
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
    Brush: Simpson Colonel X2L
    Soap: TSD Barber Shoppe
A/S: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel, Speick Splash

The TSD soap lathered like a champ, and the shave was BBS. The scent was pleasant, but a little too strong for my taste. However, the Speick splash blended well with the soap fragrance and lemon witch hazel and resulted in a fine finish.

    Wednesday - another day closer

Prep: Hot shower, soak brush, hand strop blade
    Coffee: Home roasted Tanzania, BLACK
Soap: Ogalalla Bay Rum & Sandalwood
    Brush: Mohawk 3-338
    Razor: 1958 Gillette TV SS
Blade: Astra SP, day 1, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, RazoRock, ice water splash, Ogalalla Bay Rum & Sandalwood AS/Skin Toner, hand strop blade & put in tomorrow's razor
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

    Shave Rating: 5 Blades

The Wilkinson blade just wasn't cutting it - literally. Just to make sure it was the blade and not the razor, I put an Astra SP into the same razor I used Monday with the Wilkinson. I'll do the same tomorrow. Today's shave went great, near BBS.

Add Wilkinson to the list, along with Derby, of blades just not for me.

Many warm days to go this year but today is cool and overcast and the Grey Flannel called to me. ;)
First use of the Iridium blades. I can see why many people like them. Sharp and delivered a smooth shave. However, I really dislike having to clean a new blade before use. Glue on the blade edge knocks the rating down a point 4.0

Brush: Rudy Vey Beehive with Shavemac Knot

    A/S: Pashana

Ever since I received a shipment with several broken bottles of Pashana, I have not used it much (the house smelled like Pashana for weeks). Now that the Paashana fiasco's memory has faded a bit, I decided to bring out the Pashana for today's shave. I do really like this aftershave but it brings to mind the old Brylcreem motto, "a little dab will do ya".

    Wring knot. 1 min. 6 pass. Rework 1st & 2nd pass.
The Wee works better when knot is wrung instead of being shaken 3x before dollop is applied. While I do have to rework the first two passes it's ok. At least this way the lather is moist thicker paste.
