2 pass BBS. I'm really liking this Semogue 1305 now that I figured out the secret to making it work for me. Razorock XXX is probably a Top Five soap for me. It lathered gave me such a great shave. I don't really see a need for my DE's anymore. Maybe I'll sell them, trade them, PIF... who knows? I am keeping my Schick Krona for sure though. Maybe I'll get back into straights. Stay tuned.

Back to the Glacial soaps which I love so much and back to the bone-chilling menthol effect which they're famous for. The Obsidian soap not only froze my face off, it lathered so easily and gave me perfect skincare. The Wintergreen witch hazel is so cold that even my fingers tingle for a while after I put it on, and it's one of the few aftershaves I can use without any moisturizer because it's so skin-friendly. My Rapira blade is still pretty sharp, but it's starting to wind down a little. I'd rate this shave as a good BBS. ;) :D

Have a great weekend, folks! :)

Haven't seen the Aqua Velva in a little bitty spray bottle. That would be handy for travel. Where'd you find it?

Using the spray bottles is more economical, too. I find that product lasts longer.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: Schick Injector Adjustable M2
    Blade: Personna (2)
    Lather: WSP Barbershop Rustic Soap
    Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Shulton Old Spice

Another excellent shave. This was my first time using the WSP soap. I really enjoyed the scent. It whipped into a lather very easily and provided good slickness and cushion. I recently scored 3 6.5oz bottles of Shulton Old Spice along with a bottle of Shulton Old Spice Talc. I enjoy the new Old Spice very much, but the Shulton OS is awesome. I just love that scent.

    Have a great day!

    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
    Razor: Gillette New Long Comb
    Blade: Ladas

I am becoming a believer in Ladas blades. Three shaves so far and each better than the last. These blades definitely feel smoother than voskhods and they are plenty sharp. I am hoping these will hold out for 4 shaves per blade. Tomorrow will tell.
