Flickr has been having issues allowing me to load to several sites today. Every day it seems that Yahoo's goal is to mess with Flickr unnecessarily. See if that change works for you.

Happy to provide you with a little inspiration, Jeff. :)
The Glacial Lemon Chill has quickly become one of my favorites of Rod's many fine offerings. I highly recommend the Lemon Chill Witch Hazel as well. It leaves my face feeling great, and is even colder than the soap.

This shave was very comfortable. I got BBS with no nicks or irritation. This Cold River Soap is a real winner. I broke out the Semogue 1305 and it really performed well. I'm glad I didn't get rid of it like I originally planned.

    Dolce & Gabbana EdT

An even colder set-up than I used yesterday for Menthol Monday because the Glacial Lemon Chill soap is so damned frigid that it literally almost numbs your face and the Anherb conditioner is quite a bit colder than the 444 balm. The Rubby Dubby Doo did its job beautifully and left me almost shivering after my shave. My large horsehair barbershop brush is a fantastic lather-maker for soaps, particularly certain ones which would otherwise be difficult to get going. BBS again with so little effort. ;) :D

    Classy shave
WSP Rustic Barbershop continues to impress. Today I paired it with Fine Platinum, and they compliment one another very nicely. The lather was thick, slick, protective and abundant thanks to my HIS lather monster. My SC101 easily and comfortably defeated my stubble, leaving smooth skin with two creepers (weepers that did not appear until after I applied the AS).

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: WSP Rustic Barbershop
    Brush: HIS XL
    Razor: iKon SC101
    Blade: Personna lab blue (2)
    AS: Fine Platinum

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: Gillette Trac II
    Blade: Gillette Trac II
    Lather: C.O. Bigelow
    Brush: Omega Boar Travel Brush
    Post: Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Floid Amber/Old Spice Mixture

I am traveling for work for a couple of days. Fearing that Security would not let me have double edge blades in my carry-on, I opted to use the Gillette Trac II. This is the first time I have used a cartridge in about a year. Now I remember why I switched to DE/SE/Injector. Although I finished with a pretty good shave, it was definitely not the most comfortable shave ever. I have some minor irritation and still did not get nearly as close a shave as I have come to expect. Oh well, just one more day of this and it's back home to my good razors.

    Have a great day!

    TUESDAY
    Back to Work Day
My first shave ever with this recently restored Wade & Butcher 6/8." The entire razor was in very sad shape before I started working on it some time ago. I finally finished it last week. See Here. What a great razor it turned out to be: a very smooth shaver with good heft!

    Pre: Home made preshave cream
Razor: Wade & Butcher 'The Celebrated Hollow Ground' 6/8"
    Brush: Lijun Silvertip
    Lather: Martin de Candre Fougére
    Shave: 3-passes + touch-up
Post: Homemade 'Black River' bay rum aftershave

    Have a great Tuesday, all!
