Have any of the regular Speick users noticed any skin irritation before? After 5 shaves in a row with the cream I noticed my face & neck starting to look sunburned. After a day off yesterday I'm looking more normal today. I'll go back to the Speick on Monday & should know by Wednesday or Thursday if there is just something there that my face can handle in small doses but not with prolonged exposure. Any others have any irritation with this or may know what might be the irritating factor?

I have no irritation at all using Speick cream or stick.

I've never noticed any before when I'd only use it once or twice before rotating to a different product. If it happens again this week then I'll have to limit its use as it gives such a excellent shave & smells great.

Might try using just a little less product. Only takes a pea size dot to make a great lather.

Unfortunately my very hard water requires more product or else my lather is quite thin.

No issues for me. Then again, it only gets used once every month and a half or so!

The aftershave is very nice, too.

Speick was one of the soaps that I used for a full week. I've never had any irritation that could be traced to a particular soap, including this one, or a cream, but people do have different sensitivities. You have to believe your own experience if you can eliminate any other possible factor.

All of your Speick talk has caused me to go to the 'Company' Store and buy a sample of the soap for myself. Should be here this week and I'll see for myself how 'great it is'!:)-)
Great idea the sample 6pack of soap sampler idea!

It's one of the finest shaving products I've tried. I grate it into a glass bowl with a nice lid. I too wish they would put out the same thing in a puck form. The aftershave splash is also excellent!

Hate the stick, love the grate and that's how I use Speick - milled into a small bowl and lathered by loading the brush and moving to a bowl. I am no fan of the face lather. Speick is a love it or hate it scent. I love it.

Tried the cream. It did give a nice shave. But... Not much fragrance . Seem to want more in the line of smell these days.

Haven't used my Speick stick in a month or so, and to celebrate I'll use it tomorrow.

I don't like the scent of the cream, but love the scent and performance of the soap. I love sticks, so I most likely would not buy it, or I would turn it into a shave stick. I do think it would be a big hit though, and they would probably sell tons of them.

??? :think002: I'm sorry, but I don't follow you. The Speick stick is quite popular.

Steve, you and I had/have the same question.

Add me to the list for the same question. There's a number of people who take the Speick stick as well and put it into bowls, isn't there?

Yep. I grated mine into a glass bowl. Love it.

That is what I do with mine. I grate it and put it in the tin as pictured below.

Speick only comes in stick form or a tube of cream.
