Looks like that ARD outfit is not all it seems I took a look at the eBay link and the guy firstly cannot write their own description of their product, quote a line here "This is a huge differential as stainless steel is rust free and with no plating to come off there will be no peeling and no early metal wear". Check the link http://www.executive-shaving.co.uk/...heart-stainless-steel-handle-safety-razor.php you will see the same line here, as for the knurling do they know the difference between diamond and straight line. I haven’t read all the posts on here but I would stay well clear, the quality of that razor is not good at all with some visible tool marks. As for Stainless Steel heads I have searched the internet for them and I cannot find any companies that would supply them to individuals Mervyn
Well it been a while and the case is closed so I thought id give you an update. I got my money back. eBay sent me a return label , so returning it didn't cost me a cent. Here is a close up of the " stainless steel ARD" razor with the chrome removed. Looks like brass to me.....
