Thanks for the tip. I might send him an email later on. I have purchased far too many soaps and creams lately, so I need to cool down a bit :)

Ok guys, I did it. I ordered a puck of Orange Chill, Frozen Tundra, Unscented bath soap (it was $1.50 couldn't be passed up,) and a bar of Scots Pine Sheep. With shipping, the order came out to $20.00.

Wow! I've been loading the Stirling on my brush and then building the lather in a bowl, which is my usual procedure. And it's been working fine. But today I decided to try lathering in the mug with the soap in it, as Rod says works best with his soap. Holy cow! The lather just about exploded out of the mug! Huge piles of it, dense and creamy and slick, and it came together fast. I am totally sold on this stuff.

I used the exact method he demonstrates here:

Well guys, I got my Stirling Soap haul in today. I'm already impressed.

I have one puck of Frozen Tundra and one Orange Chill.

I also ordred a Scots Pine Sheep Soap and unscented bath soaps.

What really impressed me is the samples he threw in. I got Margaritas in the Arctic and Barbershop samples that are both very generously sized. Man I don't even know where to start with shaving.

Ryan-You are going to like them...........

FYI-Tried the Tabac today. Great lather and shave. Thanks. Back to Stirling Scots Pine tomorrow............

Tabac lathers up so easily, it should be illegal. I love that soap too btw, I'm glad it treated you well. Only thing is that I can't use it everyday because it irritates my face.

Funny thing is that Barbershop and MITA were the two other soaps I was interested in trying and he sent me samples of those. It was like he read my mind... he's definitely a cool guy to do business with.

I'm sorry, but Scots Pine Sheep Soap sounds like something no dignified Scotsman should ever talk about.

I used the Scots Pine bath soap yesterday. The scent is neutral and the performance was awesome!

Ryan-I have been using the Pig Trail Bath Soap for a couple of weeks now and have to say that I am disappointed. While it works great and leaves skin feeling great, it sure doesn't smell like any of the "pig trails" I go down when hunting wild pigs! But then again, maybe that is a good thing? I like Rod's bath soaps too!! :D

Does it smell woodsy? I've hunted enough deer to know what the woods smells like, but dead deer don't smell that great. :p

It is a great fresh, woodsy scent. Not at all like a smelly ol' boar.

Well then. I might have to try it. I love fresh scents like that.

Bacon makes everything better, including your morning shave. An intense, smoky bacon smell that will go great with your morning eggs and biscuits.
