Hello, my second post here :) I was wondering if there is a straight razor "bible" with all or most vintage razors pictured for identification and education?

I have something similar for cigars by min Ron nee... Anything like that exist?

Also, a lot of the forums have libraries, wikis, or knowledge bases. Great sources of info as well.

Glen, on ebay the second editions seem to be the ones going in the $30 range; the third edition about 3x that amount. I don't know if theres a big diff between the two versions...other than the asking prices.

Hehehe I don't know what the differences are...

But I just very carefully taped the cover on my "Rare" 3rd edition that I had been leaving laying around on the floor by the computer for the last 6 years and put it on the Bookshelf..

That goes to show just how things have changed in this hobby in a short amount of time, I bought mine in 2008 for $6

PS: For the info contained in this book I wouldn't pay that kind of money gents :( I would have to really think about the $30 price tag let alone the $90

Much cheaper than college books though!

Shameless plug, try looking for the book at your local public library. They might not have a copy, and even if they do it might be reference only (no borrowing), but it's worth a shot.

The Kobo version also seems to be $10.00

You can also buy the ebook version for about $9 online. I purchased it a year or so ago and it it's great. May not be the same but at a 90% discount, it's well worth it.
