It can be if you know what you're looking for and the pictures displayed are of good quality. I've had some surprises in my hundreds of eBay deals, but only ever returned one razor for a crack in the handle that didn't show up in the photos. You know what they say though, buyer beware.
i just bought a shaving mug w/ that one in it.... nice to see it's worth more than what i payed for a Nipon mug....
