BBQ competitions have been won with the Weber Smoky Mountain, going up against some of the high end BBQ rigs.

I'd love to have a Lang! Been keeping my eye open hoping to find a used one but haven't run across one anywhere. May just have to bite the bullet and buy new some day.

I have looked hard at them many times. Never considered that a used one could ever become available.

I have 2 WSM a 14 and a 22. Great cookers, great results, refueling is a hassle during a cook.

If you really want a great smoker, grill, etc., Check out Pitts by JJ. I've ben inside their location, talked to the owner, and their quality and pricing blows others away. They are works of art.

They don't very often and there's a reason for that. Been wanting their basic 48" trailer model for years but just really haven't been able to justify getting one just yet. I think for what you get it's a good buy for the $.

Check out shirleyfabrication.com, ( sorry, don't know how to post a link) the waiting list on these smokers are a year to a year and a half out. After looking at them I think I still would rather have a Lang. That's just me though.

Reminds me of a sign I saw at a N. Carolina car wash in my traveling days.

    "NO PIG COOKERS ALLOWED!"

When I look at the mess in the water pan of a WSM, I can imagine how 1 commercial trailer job would gunk things up.

Have you ever tried Barbecue beef jerky it is the best snack for evening cravings? My friend introduces me to this flavor for the very first time through the Carnivore Club gift box.

Let me see...is a cooker someone who cooks? I think the word" cook" could be the only word that means the same as a subject and verb.

Some Baby Backs done long and slow. Delicious!!! Also, my smoking/grilling hardware. A Smokey Joe for small grilling. A Smokey Mountain for my long and slow smokes. A 22.5 Kettle for larger grilling. The main thing I like about the Smokey Mountain is temperature control. If I want 235 degrees, I can peg it hour after hour. For me, the quality of the Weber products is second to none. The enamel finish lasts for years. The fit and finish is excellent.
