Third shave with this blade. Two days growth. Still very sharp and smooth. Very little aftershave feedback. I'm starting to like this blade more, with each shave.

They are getting popular so the price is already going up.

I also have a couple of the Gillette Super Blue razors coming on from Aliexpress. They are great travel razors. Essentially 1970’s era Techs.

I had to buy one the last time I was in China and lost track of it over the years. Very happy to find them again. It was about $12 all in for three of them. Can’t beat that….

Yes, Aliexpress shaving sellers seem to be very savvy -- I'm sure they check the forums.

My take is that blades like these need to be significantly cheaper than other brands to be a big hit outside of Asia.
Or as you said, right up there with Kais and Feathers in quality.

Even the most expensive blades are by far the biggest bargain in terms of what we buy for wetshaving.

Fourth shave down, with three days growth. Still very smooth, with no feedback from the aftershave. No signs of the edge degrading, yet.

I’m in the middle of blade testing a few different brands so only stretched mine to three shaves, but they were all consistently sharp and smooth. I’m very curious to see how far you can go….

I'll push it, as long as it isn't pulling, or causing irritation.

Go for it -- like Kramer seeing how far he can go on an "empty" tank!

I just used a Suneko for the first time tonight. Initial impression is that it is a very good blade providing adequate sharpness for me. No blood, no tugginess. Just a smooth efficient shave.

I ordered from Aliexpress, but they dropped a zero when fulfilling my order. I only received two tucks of blades, but was quickly refunded the full price when I notified the vendor. Due to positive reviews and apparently a bump in sales the price has already gone up by $1 since my order a few weeks ago.

Do I wish I received the full 200? Yes. But I have so many blades, I will be satisfied with the 20 I received.

Sorry to hear that. I received my 200 pack last week, and noticed the price of these blades creeping up too. The word is out.

    Thursday Shave

    Lather: Sterling Unscented with Beeswax
Brush: Ever Ready with a PAA knot
Razors: Henson v2 mild, Henson v2 mild (Dr Squatch edition)
Blades: Suneko Platinum and Astra Platinum
    Post: Zingari Man Recovery Splash

Today I did a side-by-side comparison of the Suneko blade against a reliable standard, the Russian Astra Platinum. I used two Henson V2 mild razors and did the right side of face with the Suneko blade and the left side with the Astra.

The Astra shave was predictable, comfortable, and drama-free as expected. The Suneko is sharper than the Astra so it slices through stubble more easily, but it is not harsh like a Feather or a Kai blade is in my experience.

I had some irritation on the Suneko side, but I knew that when it happened -- I used too much pressure when going across the grain above my lip. That is technique issue that I have worked on before. After that, I was more careful when I did the Astra side and had zero irritation. Clearly user error! The Zingari Man Recovery Splash was soothing to the irritation.

My first shave was harsh, because of the sharpness too, i wasn't expecting Feather like sharpness. Every shave after has been butter smooth.
