Get the Stick You can get it for around $11-$12 shipped on ebay - at least you could not too long ago. Its fantastic. I have pretty much cleared out the majority of soaps for obvious reasons but Tabac is still in my possession and active rotation. It really is fantastic IMO.
Nope and never had problems in that regard. ;-) Example - SWMBO hates Arko. I love it. I use it. She's still here. If she weren't I'd be better off without if she didn't love me beyond my chosen scent of the day. So stop and try to please the ladies all the time. If they love you, they stay. If they leave, it wasn't love. And if one scoots because of Tabac, there are as plenty women to choose from as there are drops in the ocean.
If that's without the bowl, I don't blame you. But you don't need the bowl. You should be able to get a refill puck... (see below)
I have a bowl of Tabac. I like the soap and the scent, but it irritates my skin if I use it day after day.
I take it this would not be a good choice for one with sensitive skin. Would the Stick be better or would I be better off not even trying this stuff?
It has some serious scent, on the other hand, I've never heard of anyone complaining about irritation. I don't have particularly sensitive skin (except with coconut products...I love coconut scented soap too) so I can't really answer the question. Tabac is good enough that it's worth getting a sample and trying it out. Or, if you get a full puck and can't use it, you should be able to easily BST it.
The lather and shave quality are worth it alone. The smell will grow on you, it's one of those things. I love the aftershave! The soap is similar but more tobaccoey and spicy.
The soap is a very good performer but the scent just isn't for me. Some say it smells like baby powder but I think it smells like an old man. I am an old man (sort of) but I don't have to smell like one.
I would rather be waterboarded than stuck in a room with those two scents Mark- PM me if you want and I will carve off some MWF from my puck and send it to you. I have to get you out of the clutches of these "Tabac Pushers" for your own good lol....
