I am curious to hear what you ended up with, Kt @Salty Belle -- and you're set for May release(s)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I suppose a couple little "hints" won't hurt I tinkered with a classic a bit and love how it came out so... 'Twisted Tweed' Our twist on the classic, unforgettable Green Irish Tweed fragrance. This crisp, fresh, sporty fougere opens with green citrus, bergamot, wild lavender and lemony verbena over a rich heart of geranium, fern and violet. Anchored with spicy, woodsy accords of cedar, musk, amber, frankincense and Mysore sandalwood. And the 'yet to be named' (perhaps Coastline?) Brisk seas, damp earth and crisp, cool air just before the rain. A windward breeze carries leafy green notes and soft florals of lily, jasmine, rose and violet over the sand. Earthy tones of sandalwood and cumaru seed balance this rich, coastal aroma. and they are scheduled to release the first week of May
I'm in for some mentholated citrus. I'm going through the soap samples and I'm currently using and seriously loving the Frozen Margarita to the point that it might be my second Retro soap purchase.
I'm really interested in seeing if I can tolerate the sandalwood in both of your new releases. I'll need to order a full tub of TBD and get a sample.
The Twisted Tweed sounds very nice. As far as names, I like "Pacific Coast Highway". Make me a mentholated Grapefruit soap please
If she would have done the aventus clone...you would have been in trouble. The twisted tweed does sound nice.
Nah. The Aventus would have intrigued the wife enough that she would have purchased it (for her pleasure, rather than my own). I don't consider that a violation. The Twisted Tweed is more in line with my own preferences, not my wife's, so that would all be on me...
Highway One is the (aka Pacific Coast highway) whereas 101 is mostly inland; following the old mission trail "El Camino Real" for a good part of its route. Highway 1
It's a gorgeous drive up the coast. Much better to be the passenger on the trip. The driver is white-knuckling it for the duration of the roadway.
