Hi Bryan, I come from a long line of shoe-eaters , so maybe this will help. Certain things will give offense / sound insincere despite the speaker's intentions. Example: 1. Please do X. 2. Please do X! 3. Please do X!!!! <---- sounds demanding & desperate. Example: 1. "I'm sorry I was offensive." 2. "I'm sorry if I was offensive." 3. "I'm sorry you were offended." #2 sounds insincere. Sounds like the speaker doesn't know what he's apologizing for & is "going thru the motions" #3 sounds like the speaker is blaming the other person. Just semantics? Maybe, but knowing them also helps with bosses & SOs
The current API provided by tapatalk will not function at all. I have a support ticket open with them, and we are working through the issue.... just an update.
